Cheryl's POV

"Cherry!" I heard someone yell for me and I instantly jolted up to see Fangs and Sweet Pea in my bedroom.

"What do you want?!" I screamed at them. They should know that I'm not friendly in the morning and that they better have a good reason for waking me up. I looked over at the time and it was 6:30, and school starts at 8:30. "You have 5 seconds to explain why you woke me up this early!" I yelled angrily.

"Because you take forever to get ready. We need to be at school by 8:20 and we need to leave early today so we'll make it on time." Fangs said hurriedly, knowing that he should be afraid of me when I'm this mad.

"And why the hell is that?" I replied with my eyes narrowed.

"Southside High was shut down and we'll be attending Riverdale High now. They want us there earlier so we have time to find the auditorium for some presentation. So get up and get moving!" Sweet Pea exclaimed.

"Ugh! No I'm not going to that preppy rich kid school!" I groaned.

"Come on, Cherry! You've been complaining about Southside since the first day of freshman year. At Riverdale we'll get a better education and you can finally try out for cheerleading since they actually have a cheer team to offer." Fangs explained warmly, knowing that I did want to enjoy high school, and it wasn't really possible for me with people snorting jingle jangle left and right. Especially after what happened to my brother, Jason, but that's not what I should be focusing on right now.

"And you may find some cute Northside chick to bang since the Southside girls aren't your type." Sweet Pea smirked.

"He means to date!" Fangs fussed as he glared at Sweet Pea. "Since she's not ready for that kind of stuff yet." He said to him through gritted teeth, causing me to chuckle and get up.

"Thanks, Fangs." I smiled. "And in fact, I do feel more encouraged to go now." I said confidently.

"Really?" They asked.

"Yep! Now get the hell out of my trailer!" I snapped and they knew it was time to go. "I'll see you at school!" I called before they finally left. I honestly didn't mind if they stayed because I actually like the company and Sweet Pea and Fangs are like my brothers. I just take forever and I don't trust them to hang out in the trailer while I'm in the shower or doing my makeup since they're rowdy and clumsy, besides it's nice to have a little peace and quiet. I sighed and then I went into the bathroom and turned the shower on. While I waited for the shower to heat up I took off my red tank top, black leggings, and current undergarments and put them into my hamper. I then hopped into the shower and washed up.

Once I was done with my shower I wrapped my red robe around my body and began to dry off as I scrabbled to find my hair dryer. I found it and plugged it into the outlet and began to dry my hair, making sure it became mostly dry before I put the hair dryer back up and went into my room. I opened my dresser and looked through my undergarments, trying to find a decent looking bra and some comfortable panties to wear. I picked what I wanted and then tossed them onto my bed so I could rummage through my closet to find my outfit for the day. I grabbed some sheer black leggings and some black shorts, along with a sheer black top with roses embroidered on it. I placed those on my bed as well and went back into the bathroom and took my robe off, placing it back on its hook. I then went over to my bed and got all of my clothing on and turned to my full length mirror to examine today's choice.

Sexy and badass. Nice work, Cherry.

I checked the time and saw it was 7:30. I huffed and then went into the kitchen to find something to eat before I properly did my hair and applied my makeup. I decided on a bowl of cereal, so I made it and sat down to eat as I scrolled through things on my phone. I saw the local news article pop up and read through it, seeing that Southside High was indeed shut down, allegedly because of all the drug dealing going on and a jingle jangle lab in the basement. Go figure. I can imagine how pissed all those Northsiders are right about now. Pissed about all the drugs and gangs coming to plague their school and lower the school's overall GPA. I can't wait to see the looks on their faces as we strut down the hallway, how they'll do everything they can to get us to leave. But what I really can't wait for is to prove them wrong and show them we aren't all bad. Most of us are actually really good kids who simply have a different style and grew up on a different side of town, and most of us are smart but have been robbed of our education at Southside. I have a 4.0 GPA so they can't say anything to me about being dumb because I know I'm smarter than over half of that school. This is a good opportunity for me to get a better education and a more fun high school experience, and I'm not going to let anyone ruin it.
