Toni's POV

"So here's what I'm thinking the plan is—" Reggie began but I zoned out.

How the hell does she know something's wrong with me? I mean, she's not wrong about it, but just the fact she had the nerve to say something is so annoying. Why is she so nice and willing to help me even though I'm awful to her? And why is she so hot?! My dumb luck just had to make me walk in on her when she was as bare as a newborn baby and ugh I can't help that I think she's hot. But she's seriously the hottest person I've seen in my life! Her facial features, perfectly clear skin, bold red hair, soft brown eyes, and one nice ass—

"Does that sound good, babe?" Reggie finished with a smile, trying to get my attention.

"Oh! Yeah it sounds great!" I smiled.

"You don't even know what I said. You zoned out again." He chuckled. "You do that a lot ya know?"

"Sorry. Just a lot on my mind." I whispered quietly.

You have a boyfriend, Toni. He's hot too, and sweet, and you do love him. Stop thinking about her.

"It's fine." He smiled back at me. "Want me to say the plan again?"

"Yes please."

"Okay! So I'm going to drop you off and then I'm gonna run home really quick and get a shower and a change of clothes, and then I'll come get you so we can get ready to go to Veronica's."

"Alright that works." I nodded as we continued our way to my house.

Once we got there and Reggie drove off, I went inside and upstairs to take a shower. After I was cleaned up, I dried my hair and then picked out an outfit for the party. I went with a black long sleeved crop top and some skinny jeans so it was nice, but still quite casual for a party. I then heard a knock on the door and Nancy came in.

"Hey, honey. You going to a party tonight?" She asked.

"Hey, and yeah I am." I smiled at her.

"Okay well you know the rules."

"Check in, don't drink, be home by 11:00, and be careful." I recited. Nancy knows I'd never drink and that I'll be careful, she just likes to make sure I'm reminded.

"Good. Just don't want anything bad to happen." She sighed.

"I know, and Reggie is gonna be there. You know he wouldn't let anything happen to me."

"Yeah I do. He's a sweet boy."

"He is. He's actually about to pick me up so could I curl my hair real quick?" I chuckled.

"Oh yeah of course. I'll be downstairs. Please let us know when you're leaving."

"I will." I nodded before going back into my bathroom and started curling my hair.

"Toni!" Betty beckoned me over to her and Cherry.

"Oh, hey guys." I smiled when I walked up to them.

I had just gotten to the party and there was already a lot of people there. Reggie dropped me off at the door and then went to park somewhere along the long driveway to Veronica's mansion. Betty and Cherry were over in the kitchen, eating some chips from the snack table.

"How's it going?"

"Good, what about you guys?" I asked.

"Better than earlier." Cherry yawned.
