(Picture above is Shuuya Kano, from Mekakucity Actors)

The one with the Deceivers Eyes.

Again, she told them yet another lie. Her lips were painted with a smile, her eyes held the fake happiness she had learned to pull off a long time ago. She has always lied to people. it never mattered whether or not she was good at it. Lying was a part of her now, forever. She walked away from her parents, continuing to wear her mask of happiness to hide her pain.

The young girl entered her room, filled with shadows, and the reflection. She sat on her bed and stared deep into the glass surface across from her. Her reflection glared at her with their cold, lifeless eyes. Scowling, it crawled out of its imprisonment. Standing back up again, their shadow slithered towards the girl and began to wrap itself around her. The girl whimpered as she felt the thing squeeze her, especially around her throat. Out of instinct, she grabbed the thing preventing her from breathing and attempted to tear the thing away from her. With no luck, she gave up and let her body go limp.

"You're pathetic. If you care about them so much, why do you bother them like this? How about this. Since the only thing you're good at is lying, why don't you just keep doing it?" her reflection suggested.

The girl met eyes with the mirror version of herself, wincing slightly at the burning in her throat. She already knew what she wanted to do, or rather, she knew what was best for everyone. With her throat in the current condition it was in, she nodded slightly. Her body fell to the ground with a thud. Trembling slightly, she lifted herself and grabbed the edge of the bed to support herself. Regaining her voice, she responded to the monster.

"I-I suppose so. That is for the best, is it not? I'm tired of making them have to go through this, so it probably is for the best," The girl choked out.

Her reflection turned away with a satisfied smirk, and skipped off back to her world of mirrors. The girl took her mask, and put the annoying thing back on again. She was trapped once more.

Trapped, in the world of lies.

A/N: For those of you who don't understand this one. This story was focused on the lies a young girl kept telling her parents. The mask represents her fake everything. She doesn't really feel happy, but she pretends to be for the sake of her parents. This story was a reference to an anime I had watched a few years ago called "Mekakucity Actors". There was one character in that anime in particicular that had been my true inspiration for this story. His name is Shuuya Kano, and he is known to lie...

Anyways, if you haven't watched that anime I recommend that you do. It may be complex at first but if you listen to the music that goes along with the anime you should understand it eventually. Right now, there are currently 12 episodes. But another series named "Mekakucity Reload" is being made at the moment.

So, I hoped all of you enjoyed this first story. Please remember that if you have any requests, I'll be glad to think them over and make one for you. I hope all of you have a great day! Peace out!
