Chapter Nine

Carpenter Community Hospital  

1:10 AM

Jamie was sleeping in the chair, 

"It's fine now, Diana." 

"But Jamie," 

"She's fine, Diana." 

Thomas took her from the room.

'There were two survivors. Two seventeen years old, Jason Benjamin and Terri Dexter were found across the street from where the murders took place. The teenagers were taken across to Carpenter Community Hospital, where Jamie McLaughlin, was also taken care of.'

The Benjamin House

November 1, 1982

1:23 AM

The evening was over. 

Perry ten Eyck made his way back to the Benjamin house, he has lived this hellish night. 

But Todd Rossi wasn't there. Todd was gone.

Room 10

Jason was trying to sleep in the hospital bed. 

"You'll be safe here," Terri informed him. 

"I'm so scared, Terri. What's going on?"

"Todd Rossi tried to kill you." 

"The kid I used to be friends with back in middle school," 

"Yeah,"

"You'll be ok, Jason," said Terri. 

Jason was begging to get tired from the talking. 

"I hope Perry is Ok." 

"He killed Todd Rossi, Terri!" 

"Calm down, go to sleep. I'll talk to later," 

"Thanks." 

"Your welcome, Jason."

Todd Rossi went into the back door of the hospital. Not seen by anyone walking by, staking the corridors... before going to a murderous rampage.

Kimball Prince was attending to the halls. 

He checked the rooms for anyone.

Until he noticed the back door. 

"I think someone's broken in, Donna," he said. 

"Go check it out," Nurse Benjamin said.     

He went near the door.

 he opened it...

 but nothing was there... Until Nurse Benjamin let out a scream.

Room 10 

1:35 AM 

Jason was scared. 

He got up from the bed, his arm was wrapped in gauze; he looked at Jamie sleeping.

It was too real for him.

"Terri... Terri... You there," he whispered. 

No one answered him. No one. 

He walked over to Jamie. 

"Jamie, did you hear anything?" 

"No," she said tiredly. 

"I heard screaming." 

"I'm scared, Jason. I'm really scared." 

"Me too," 

"I'm gonna go check, you stay right here. You got that." Jason added. 

"Yes." 

"Good," and he walked over to the bed. 

*** 

Terri waited outside. 

She needed some air. 

The dark air was around her. 

She saw Perry. 

"Perry! Jason's in here!" 

"Is he safe." 

"Yeah. He's in Room 10." 

"He's not safe! Todd Rossi is here!" 

"Let's go then!" 

and then they both ran into the hospital.
