"To the best girlfriends i could ever ask for" Veronica said holding up her glass. They four girls clinked their glasses together and smiled at each other. They were having a girly, slumber party, movie night because it was freezing outside and they loved hanging out with each other. They all sat cosied up in Toni's living room. Cheryl and Toni sat on one sofa and Betty and Veronica sat on the opposite sofa. Betty had been quiet all night but the girls didn't really know why. They asked but she said she was fine so they didn't wanna push. Betty had had a few glasses of whatever she was drinking so everyone new the truth was eventually gonna come out. "So what does everybody think of that Noah guy?" Betty asked out of the blue. Without hesitation Cheryl mumbled "dickhead" to herself, but everyone heard. Veronica laughed and Toni rolled her eyes. "Cheryl is only saying that because he flirts with me" she went on to say. "He's nice and cute but Betty why are u suddenly asking this?" Veronica said looking at Betty with a confused expression. "No reason" she said looking down. "Betty?" Cheryl said sternly knowing that she was hiding something. "it's just i'm single now, and i was thinking about my options" she said. The other three girls' jaws dropped. "What?!" Toni said shocked sitting up from the position she was previously in. "Why didn't you tell us B?" Cheryl said softly. "it's too painful to talk about" she slurred slightly taking another sip of her drink.

Betty explained the break up. She told the girls about how jughead had ended things with her because he needed space and time to 'sort through so stuff'. "What he just said hat out of the blue?" Veronica asked with a slightly aggressive tone in her voice. Betty nodded and drunk some more. The girls were upset for her and decided that they would take her mind of jughead for the rest of the night. Seeing betty upset was the worst because she was always such a happy and positive person. When Betty was sad, everybody was sad.

The girls gossiped and made Betty laugh as much as they could. They all continued drinking but Betty drank the most.

"i hate boys and i'm never dating a boy again" Betty said loudly as the other girls laughed at her. "in fact, i'm gonna date girls from now on" she exclaimed looking proud of herself. "Oh yeah Betty?" Toni asked smirking at her. "Yeah i mean look at you guys. Your so perfect together and your both so pretty and neither of you are assholes for no reason and you just look so happy and...erm i want that" Betty said softly looking at Cheryl and Toni across the living room. "Betty, your sad about jughead and we get that but maybe you should have a good night sleep and decide your sexuality in the morning" Cheryl said as she smiled at her cousin. "Come on i'm taking you to bed" the redhead continued as she stood up and grabbed Betty's hand.

They walked into Toni's room and Betty collapsed onto the bed. Cheryl took off Betty's shoes and jacket and her jeans so that she was just wearing a tshirt and she'd be comfortable. Betty sighed happily as her head hit the pillow. Cheryl sat on the bed beside her. "Cheryl?" Betty whispered with her eyes closed. "yeah" she replied softly. "I'm scared that no one is gonna love me like Toni's loves you" she said as she slowly opened her eyes and looked at Cheryl. Cheryl's heart sunk and she felt sympathy for her cousin. She'd just had her heart broken and she was confused and sad. "Betty, there's a person out there for you who will love every part of you more than you can ever imagine. They'll treat you right. Don't be scared because it'll happen. I had no one and i thought i'd never be loved but look at me now. I'm happy and one day you'll be in the same place as me" Cheryl whispered as she played with betty's soft blonde hair. Betty smiled and a small tear fell down her cheek. "Love you" Betty whispered as she slowly closed her eyes. "Love you too" Cheryl whispered. She kissed Betty on the forehead and turned off the lamp.

"Looks like we are on the couch babe" Cheryl said as she walked back into the room and sat down beside Toni. She jokingly rolled her eyes and smiled as they snuggled in the blankets. Cheryl looked over the living room and saw Veronica angrily slamming her thumbs on the keyboard of her phone. "Ah" she said as she threw her phone forcefully on the cushion beside her. "Archie?" Cheryl asked knowing that it was definitely him who had annoyed her. "i seriously don't even know why i bother anymore. He always chooses his friends over me and when i do see him all he wants to do is have sex or sleep. Like he doesn't even care" Veronica ranted angrily. "i've said it before and i'll day it again, that boy does not deserve you" the redhead said and Toni nodded in aggrement. "i'm literally so done with him" she said rather sternly. Veronica was fed up and the girls weren't surprised. "I'm gonna go to bed. Love you girls" V said as she stood up and walked into the other room pulling the sliding doors shut.
