It had been 3 days and neither of the girls had spoken to each other. They were both stubborn so that didn't help but they also didn't really know what to say. Toni was so angry at herself that she didn't know how to apologise and she didn't think Cheryl wanted to talk to her. Cheryl was annoyed that Toni hadn't talked to her about her problem and that she ran away from it like usual. Cheryl wanted Toni to trust her but she still felt like she didn't.

Monday came around and Cheryl was getting ready for school. She felt nervous as she didn't know what was gonna happen when they saw each other. She missed Toni a lot. Even though it had only been a really sort time, she missed her smile and her hugs and her kisses and her stupid laugh that made Cheryl feel all nervous inside. She just wanted to talk to her but she didn't know what to say. She sat down at her dressing table and put her glasses on as she checked her texts and snapchat's. Nothing.

Toni laced her her black Dr Marten boots and put on her leather jacket. She was still beating herself up about the other night. She had so much rage and she didn't know what to do with it. Toni also felt really sad. She felt like she'd ruined her chances with Cheryl. Toni decided to skip psychology. She didn't want to have to sit beside her for an hour and a half and not be able to talk things through. She grabbed her phone off her desk and went on to her and Cheryl's text thread. "can we talk? locker room at break?" she texted. She hovered her finger over the send button for a while before pressing it and locking her phone straight away.

As soon as Cheryl's phone vibrated she picked it up. She wouldn't admit it but she's been waiting for a text of her. She read it and put her phone down on the desk. Did she reply? did she leave it? Did she even go? Cheryl locked her phone and decided that not replying would be the best option. She immediately felt herself getting nervous as she thought about how their conversation was gonna go. Obviously she didn't want to be fighting with Toni, but she didn't wanna just let it go. She wanted to make sure that Toni knew that she was upset and she wanted her to really know how she felt.

Cheryl bounced her leg nervously as the clock got closer and closer to 10:30. The bell sounded and she stupid up and raced out straight away. She walked down the hall and straight into the girls locker room. Toni turned and looked at her as she walked in. "I wasn't sure if you were gonna come" Toni said in a blunt tone. Cheryl didn't speak reply for a second, she just looked at her. "of course i came we need to talk" she said as she sat down. "look..." Toni started as she sat down next to her. "i was so stupid and i don't know why i did what i did. it was just a mistake and i just has a moment of weakness" she said with a shaky voice. "yeah but the thing is babe you do it all the time i know you do. Why didn't you just tell me how you felt? I can help you but i feel like you don't trust me" she said looking at her. Toni looked away and put her head in her hands. "i do trust you, i do, i just feel like all of these problems i have and all of this shit that's happened to me is just a burden and i don't want you to have to go through that"

"Toni the whole point in a relationship is that your supposed to go through all that stuff together. I'm right here for you and i can help you but you need to let me try. You need to tell me things otherwise i'm never gonna know what's going on with you"

"well maybe i'm not ready for that"

Cheryl's widened. She was not expecting that reply. "What are you saying?" she said as her eyes filled with tears. "ugh i don't know maybe this is all just to fast and too much" Toni shouted as she stood up and paced around the room. "Are you fucking kidding me?" Cheryl shouted back. Toni looked at her and sighed. "i don't know what you expect me to say" she said back with a mean tone in her voice. Cheryl stood up and walked over to her so that she was stood close to her. "you do know that giving up and running away is not gonna fix your problems?" Cheryl said sternly. Toni looked at her with eyes filled with tears. "But hey, give it a go and let me see how that works out for you" Cheryl said sarcastically as she turned around and walked out. "Cheryl please" Toni pleaded. Cheryl stopped and turned around to look at her. "don't talk to me" she said with no emotion and then she proceeded to walk out.
