CHAPTER 04

NAYAH'S POV

I woke up feeling something painful. My head is spinning. I can't see clearly. Until I saw my brother sleeping on the other side of the bed. I smiled. But then, my smile faded when I remembered what had happened last night.

Flashback came throwing on my mind. I'm traumatized. I clutch my head hoping that memory will get lost. But I just can't. Until, I accidentally screamed.

“Please, stop!”, I said to myself

I heard the door unlocked but I don't know who came in. Suddenly, I heard footsteps coming near me. I'm scared now! I'm scared! What if someone kidnapped us while I'm unconcious?! What if soon after, they will kill us?!

Just then, a pair of arms wrapped around me. It feels so comfortable. I stopped myself from sobbing.

“Don't be scared Nayah. I'm here now, you don't need to be afraid”, this voice is really familiar to me

“Beomgyu?”, I asked a little loud

I remove my palm from my face and looked up. It's him, it is really him. I feel so comfortable around him. What feeling is this? I don't understand.

“Oops! Sorry! Did we disturb the two of you?”, someone asked

'Uh. . .no! It's fine', Beomgyu said

I caught the woman's piercing eyes. Damn! It's so hypnotizing.

'Uh. . .Nayah? Wait for me here, I'll just get the two of you a breakfast', I just smiled

And then, they left. I jumped off from the bed and wake Jeffrey up. He's very tired from what happened last night. Should I wake him up? Yes, I should.

'Yah! Ireona! Jeff, wake up now', I said tapping his shoulder

He groaned and rub off the sleep from his eyes.

'Oh! It's sunshine already?', he asked himself

'Yes and do you perhaps remember something about what happened last night?', I asked him directly

He stood up and ruffles his hair.

'I do', he answered shortly

'Can you tell me?', I asked him

'Of course, let's start on when you let me run away. So, you let me run away and call for help. I don't know who I'm going to call until I saw
Beomgyu-sunbaenim standing on the light post. I asked for his help then he said that you passed out and you had a bruise on your cheeks-----', I stopped him from explaining 'cuz I will surely get traumatized again

Someome interrupted us because we heard the door open.

'Here are your breakfast', Beomgyu sang

I smiled and Jeffrey jumped off the bed excitedly. I just shooked my head at how childish Jeffrey is. Soon after, we started eating our breakfast.

I finished taking a warm shower now. I still can't walk properly. Luckily, Jeffrey is here to help me. Beomgyu told us to get ready because we're going to meet his parents at the living room.

Their maid prepare a suit for us. Wow! This is just so casual.

This is my clothes.

And this is for my brother.

See? It's just so casual. I sighed heavily on myself. How can he do this? I mean, he don't have to do this so that we can be representable in front of his parents, right? Right, I need to clear my mind.

'Noona, do I look good on this?', he asked

'As always Jeffrey', I let out a chuckle

And he just rolled his eyes. Pfft. He's so silly. Anyways, I'm wearing my shoes now. I still feel pain because my ankle is still sprained. I still have difficulty on walking so Jeffrey always helped me to walk.

I know that it is hard for him. But he still managed it. I feel so sorry about him. He needs to helped me all day and this is because of my clumsiness. I'm so clumsy. Ugh! I blamed myself for this.

'Kaja, noona', Jeff told me and helped me to stand up

We left the room and went on the living room. We saw a middle aged woman and a man sitting on the couch. And then, we saw Beomgyu. He surely saw us because he hurried on us.

He helped Jeff to let me walk. Crap! This is just too embarrasing to me. I wish I won't embarrased everyone. As soon as we're in front of Beomgyu's parents', I told Beomgyu to not helped me anymore and that i'm fine.

I bowed as a greeting on his parents'. After that, I noticed that there was already four boys standing at the back of Beomgyu's parents'. I was shocked. How did they get there so fast? Nevermind. Maybe it's just my illusion.

'Sit down, kids', the woman told us and we just obeyed

'So, we heard about your incident last night. Your father attempted to r-----'

'Stop, please! Just stop! Can we skip that part?', I told them and they just nod

'Okay! So, my son saw Jeffrey running and calling out for help. Jeffrey told Beomgyu that you're still on the house and he ran to your home only to save you. . .', I didn't listen on their next topic

Yes, we're supposed to meet them. I mean we should introduce ourselves to them but it seems like they've known us for long. Are they've been spying on us. I'm not suspecting them, it's just I'm curious.

I stand up and excuse myself.

'Uhm. . .Can I excuse myself?', I asked and they just nod

I tried myself to walk normal but it's still hurts. I want to get some fresh air. Don't they have any balcony? I saw a maid and I decided to asked her if she know where is the balcony here.

'Uh. . .excuse me Miss. Do you know where's the balcony here or any garden?', I asked politely

'Uh. . .they have a garden, right there', she pointed me the opened door on my left.

'Gomawo-yo', I bowed and made my way

Ah! Finally! I closed my eyes so I can feel the breeze. Just then, my father came into my mind. Happy memories with him came flashing onto my mind. I was standing right there and suddenly, I felt my hot tears came flowing on my eyes.

I missed my old father. The old him. The one who didn't attempted to raped me. Where is he now? Is he still alive? Is he already on jail? I wonder where he is.
