I was woke up by someone kissing my neck.

'Y-yeonjun', I blurted out when he suddenly bit my neck

'Oh, did I wake you up?', he asked while chuckling

I throw a pillow to him as soon as I get up. I ended up laughing at him. I checked my phone to see what time is it. 4:02 pm.

'Uh. . .Yeonjun, we should get home before the sun sets', he just nod

Suddenly, his phone started ringing.

'Oh, it's Beomgyu. Wait for me here, I'll answer this first', he said and get out of the room

I made my way downstairs and I sat down on the couch. I've been worrying too much. Jeffrey is missing and the fact that I don't have any idea who might do this to him.

All of a sudden, Yeonjun came in with a worried look. I stood up from the couch.

'What did he say?', I asked while approaching him

'He said that we should stay here first. It's already dangerous out there. We can't go back until the sun rises', he said while locking the door

'Wait! What's happening?', I asked worriedly

He glanced on me but then continued doing his stuff.

'They said that they already find a tracks of Jeffrey and they are on the woods right now. Jeffrey might be taken by someone and take him to the woods. Someone who will be needing his blood, his flesh', I gasped

My hands are shaking. I don't know what to do. My only treasure is now been taken by someone who will be needing his internal organs. This can't be happening. All of a sudden, Yeonjun came to me and trapped me on his embrace.

My heart is pounding so hard in nervousness and worried. He made me sat down on the couch and hand me a water. I drink a half of it and tried myself to calm down.

'Don't be afraid Nayah, I'm here', he said before planting a kiss on my forehead

After that, I already calmed down.

It's already night time, Yeonjun told me that there is a possibilties that he won't evolve tonight. But I'm still worried. I think it's already in the middle of the night and I'm still awake.

I don't know but I don't feel like sleeping tonight. Suddenly, Yeonjun came out of the bathroom half-naked. He's only wearing a towel and it is wrapped around on his waist.

I turned my gaze on the other way when he started to put on his clothes. I looked on the window. It's so windy today, but all of a sudden, Yeonjun closed the curtain of the windows. He then came to the door and locked it.

I straightened up my myself.

'Why do we need to lock all the doors?', I asked

'This is also for your safety', he said in a low tone

I leaned back my head on the headboard of the bed. I stared on the empty ceiling.

I'm sorry Jeffrey, I failed on protecting you. I'm sorry because I left my eyes on you. I'm sorry I didn't did my best for you. I'm sorry that I broke my little promise to you and to our mom. I'm very sorry, please forgive me.

All of a sudden, I felt a hot tears streaming down my face. I wiped it by the sleeves of my sweat shirt.

I should've not let go of your hand on the first place. And now, because of me you're sufferring with that evil who will be needing your life.

'Hey Nayah, remember that I can still hear your thoughts. Don't worry too much, we will find a way to find him. Trust me, please just for now', he pleaded

I just nod.

'Now, take a rest and tomorrow we will find him along with the other clan', he said while placing a blanket on me

'But, that's the problem. I can't sleep well and I'm afraid that my nightmare will be you again', I said

He stared on my eyes first before laying down beside me and pulling me closer to him.

'You won't have any nightmare tonight', he reassured and caressed my hair

I'm still unsure. What if I woke up without him on my side? What if I just woke up on the other place? What if-----

My thoughts were cut off by Yeonjun.

'Nayah, all of your thoughts will not happen if you trust me', he said

I feel ashamed. He must be thinking that I don't trust him. I heaved a deep breath before speaking.

'Okay, I trust you on this one since you still didn't failed on me. Just make sure that you're here on my side when I wake up', I stated

He holds my hand and intertwined it together before speaking.

'Yes, I promise. Now, go to sleep. Saranghae', he said then kissed my lips

I closed my eyes. Not long after, I've already fallen asleep.

I was relieved when I saw Nayah sleeping so soundly. I loved her so much that I can't even take my eyes off of her. Why did I even claimed her in the first place? I don't deserve a girl like her.

I don't think if I can sleep tonight. I need to guard her tonight. Just for tonight. I shouldn't failed my promise to her. She trusts me and I love her. I won't let go of her.

I pulled her more closer to me and hugged her tightly. Her hair smells like a sweet strawberry.

'I love you Nayah. I promise that I won't leave you', I said while caressing her hair

With that, I closed my eyes still hugging her tightly.
