Saturday came by quickly. A little too quickly for my liking. Rosalie was having her first real date with Ethan Fitzgerald, and it wasn't going to be the same without her. Sure, we've only been to Hogsmeade roughly three times. Sure, I had Harry and Hermione. But still! Rosalie and I had customs. We had traditions. In our free time, we were together. For breaks, we switched which houses we went to. This year I was supposed to have her over for Christmas and then, she'll have me over for two weeks in the summer. We had a system that works.
And part of that system was the tradition we had for Hogsmeade where I'll meet her by the Charms classroom and we'll go off from there. Surely, she wouldn't disregard the sacredness of that. I waited there for five minutes. Maybe I'm early. Five more minutes. Maybe she's running late. Five more. Screw this. She disregarded out sacred cow of friendship.
"Wait! Warten!" I forgot Rosalie could speak German.
I turned towards her before I started to walk away. Rosalie looked nice dressed in a grey blouse with a blue and white ty-dye hoody, khakis, and black converse. Ethan stood beside her with his brown hair and hazel eyes staring at her as Rosalie grabbed my hand.
"I'm sorry I'm late. I slept in. Then, I promised Ethan I would meet him first, so I did." Rosalie spoke fast.
Most people would have had a hard time understanding the Ravenclaw ravenette beauty. But not me. I guess being friends with her for four years really pays off with all her quirks. I had them to, and I knew she had a list of them imprinted inside her brain. I know I did when it concerned her.
"That's fine." I told her.
"Really?" She questioned.
"Yes." I nodded.
"Do you have anyone to hang out with? I understand if I had to succumb you to hang out with Pansy and the girls or Malfoy and his goons." Rosalie said.
"Actually, I'm spending the day with Harry and Hermione." I explained.
"Really?" Rosalie beamed. I nodded at her. "Then, we shouldn't let them wait any longer."
And she pushed me away towards where the carriages are. I never knew why she wanted to get rid of me on that day so quickly. Maybe that's when the pair of us started to go our separate ways.

Apparently, Hermione's plan was for Harry and Ron to meet at the Three Broomsticks. She wanted them to "talk it out", but boys don't talk it out. Ever. Oh, and also Harry was under his invisibility cloak.
"So, why aren't they friends?" I asked Hermione.
"He's a jerk." Harry's disembodied voice answered.
"Why is he a jerk?" I questioned.
"He's jealous of the attention Harry's given." Hermione explained for him.
"And he won't talk to me." Harry grumbled.
"Well, what do you two normally do in Hogsmeade?" I asked them.
"Honeydukes and the Three Broomsticks." Hermione said almost immediately.
I never knew if she liked me as a friend after I tried to help her with her teeth (I even checked in on her). But she probably had her reservations because I'm Slytherin. Unlike Harry, I don't think Hermione trusted me. But, then again, I never called Draco out on that filthy name he calls her.
