I knew sneaking out of my room in the dead of night would be hard. Plus, knowing Pansy if she found out, she would tell one of the teachers and I'll be stuck with detention. Possibly for a week, but possibly for a lifetime depending who she tells. But this was important. It was for Harry, and as his new friend, I had to help him with everything.

Even if he didn't know I was helping him or was going to be there when he goes to Hagrid's. But nonetheless, I went down to Hagrid's hut. Actually, I was out the gates when I saw the raven-haired boy walking down. I ran up to him and wrapped my arms around him. He almost screamed, but chuckled instead.

"I should have known you would come follow me down to Hagrid's hut." Harry said.

Why wasn't he yelling at me? I thought that he was going to chide me on coming down to meet with Hagrid. I mean, he probably was about to. But it never came.

"You're glad I'm going to Hagrid's with you?" I asked him.

"Well, to be fair, I would prefer it to be just me since I don't want you to get in trouble, but look where we are now. I'm glad you're here." he admitted.

So, he did want me here? Or was that a low-key way of telling me to get lost? Boys are very confusing.

"That's me! I'm here to help anyway I can." I replied laughing nervously. "Well, as long as you tell me everything I need to know."

"Yeah, everything you need to know." I heard him mumble.

"What was that, Harry?"

"Nothing. Never mind. Come on. I'm sure Hagrid is wondering where we are at." Harry said before grabbing my hand and pulling me towards the hut.

I stared at our hands not even noticing we had come up to Hagrid's hut. Harry knocked on the door of the hut and Hagrid soon opened the door for us. I didn't really pay attention as I was still looking at our hands that had become entwined.

"Ah, I see you brought [Y/N] with ya." Hagrid said.

I shook my head and moved my attention to Hagrid. Harry didn't even seem to notice my lack of attention of what was going on previously.

"Yeah, she's very persistent with helping me." Harry explained.

I nodded in agreement my mind somewhere else. Somewhere else as in our entwined hands.

"So, what you showing me anyway?" Harry asked him.

"Come with me, keep quiet, an' keep yerselves covered with that cloak. We won' take Fang, he won' like it..." Hagrid trailed off as Harry swirled the cloak over the two of us.

Wait a second. We're going to be under Harry's invisibility cloak?? Isn't that going to be a little awkward? I regret my decision in coming down here. For one reason, I've never been as close as I was under that cloak.

"Listen, Hagrid, I can't stay long... I've got to be back up at the castle by one o'clock-." Harry started, but I could tell he stopped his thought since the half-giant didn't pay it attention. "Hagrid, what-?"

"Shh!" Hagrid hushed him.

Calm down, [Y/N]. Don't get so worked up because you're so close to the boy you just befriended. It's only because we can't be seen by anyone else. Just focus on something other than Harry's breath on your neck.

"You okay, [Y/N]?" Harry whispered to me.

His breath against my ear sent a shiver down my spy. Stop raging you damn hormones! He's only a friend! Keep calm, [Y/N] [L/N]. "Yeah, yeah, I'm okay."

I didn't notice we had made our way over to the Beauxbatons carriage until I heard the french accent of Madame Maxime. Wait, a second. Did Hagrid come his hair? Was he wearing a flower?

Ah, Hagrid has a crush on a giant woman.

"Ah, 'Agrid ... it is time?" she asked in her french accent.

"Bong-sewer." Hagrid said beaming at her.

I would have laughed if I didn't remember we were supposed to be quiet. And we were quiet. Harry must have noticed I was going to laugh because he placed his hand over my mouth. I looked up at him. Now, that I can really get a good look at him, I saw how attractive Harry James Potter actually was. Wait a second. What the hell! Why would I be thinking that?

"Wair is it you are taking me, 'Agrid?" Madame Maxime said pulling me from my thoughts.

"Yeh'll enjoy this, worth seein'. Trust me. On'y don't go tellin' anyone I showed yeh, right? Yeh're not supposed ter know." Then, why is he taking her to see it? Right, he likes her.

And with that we started moving again. Right, Harry was still holding my hand not paying any attention to it. Why is my brain making me notice all of this?? We were so close I could feel his breath, hear his heart beating, and be entirely uncomfortable about the entire thing.

His heart was beating loudly and fast. I just didn't know why. Anxious. Nervous. Scared. Then, a thought crossed my mind that made me shake my head at the thought. We finally got to where we were going to be.

I heard a loud roar making my breath hitch in my throat. Or was that Harry's breath that hitched in his throat and I was so close to him that I felt it too.

"Keep back there, Hagrid!" I heard a wizard yell.

I turned towards Harry to see the fear-stricken expression on his face. He was afraid. That was what the first task was. This was an outrage. How was this poor fourteen-year-old boy supposed to go against dragons and win? How would he be able to face a dragon? Surely, adrenaline would be a factor into it along with zero thinking.

But how do I get Harry's mind out of fear at the moment? Don't you even think about it, [Y/N]!

"Harry, calm down." I told him cupping his face in my hands. "I'm going to help you. You're not alone in this okay?"

I looked into his green eyes, and I saw something flash in them. I had no idea what was in his eye. All I knew was that it couldn't be any good. Or it was and I just didn't know it.
