Roman poked his head into Virgil's room. "Virgil?" He asked.

No response.

He opened the door and stepped in to look for Virgil.

The poems were everywhere. Roman couldn't step anywhere without stepping on a random piece of paper. At first, he didn't think they were poems. Just failed attempts at something. But once he picked up one of the papers, he immediately recognized the formatting. He was creativity, after all. Poems were his thing.

He tried to refrain from reading one. But he couldn't help it. He had to know what was going on in that emo nightmare's mind.

So he read one.

"I noticed everything about him,

His hair, his eyes, his clothes

But he never paid attention to me

Unless it's to crack some jokes

He doesn't like me

And he never will

Because someone like me can't be loved

At least, not until

I kill the evil part of me

The biggest part of me

And let it drown in the mud

Because no one wants to see

The part of me drenched in my own blood

I need to let it go

And forget it existed

Change my whole personality

And raise the part I've resisted

But I can't do that

Because it's not me

I can't do that

Because there's no guarantee

That he'll feel the same way

About me."

Roman's brows furrowed. He didn't know Virgil could write poems.... He picked up another one and read that as well, curious to see what else the anxious side had written.

"I watch in the shadows

As my 'friends' laugh and talk

I don't belong here

Because I'm just a freak who invokes shock

They don't love me

And honestly, it hurts

Because I want them to see

That deep down, I really care

But they don't see
