Everyone were arranging the tables and chairs, And some were arranging the food on the table. Until then, Everything was going according to the plan. Maya and Arjun didn't have any doubts on them. Everything went smooth.
"So is anyone else coming? " Pooja asked.
"Actually Maahi wouldn't be coming" Noor informed.
"Why?" Zoya asked, Her eyes were wide of surprise.
"She has gone out of town. To her parents' place, It seems that they are sick." Noor said.
"oh tch" Pooja said.
Zoya kept wondering why she didn't know about. Why didn't Maahi inform it directly? She was puzzled. But she decided to concentrate on the preparations for a while.

They were all eating peacefully. The plan went accordingly, Until
"Guys, I made a dessert by myself for Aditya's great news!" Maya said and ran to the kitchen to get the dessert.
"Oh god no." Arjun exclaimed, Slowly so that she wouldn't hear.
"Guys get ready." Aditya said.
"Why?" Pooja asked.
"Maya makes the best worst food on earth." Aditya replied with a gesture pointing the kitchen.
"So everyone, When she gives the food act as if it's good and run somewhere." Arjun gave them ideas to act too.
"Keep your hands on your cheeks telling it's delicious."
"Rub your stomach complementing the food."
"Or just give figure gestures."

Maya returned with the food. It was a white cake which was well decorated. It had strawberries on top. It was plated beautifully.
"Wait for it" Arjun mouthed to everyone.
Maya cut pieces for everyone.
Aditya kept looking at the cake and Maya noticed it.
"Wait for it Aditya. Otherwise you wouldn't get any piece." Maya said.
"Really?" Aditya asked with a big smile showing all of his teeth.
It was bright.
He thought that he was relieved from the cake.
"Oh no, I wouldn't do such a thing to you." Maya replied with a smile.
Aditya's smile faded.
"And today's hero gets the big piece." Maya said and gave a plate filled with a big piece of the cake to Zoya.
Zoya looked at her to get a response.
"You did so much today so this is your gift." Maya said.
"But I didn't do so much at all" Zoya said faking a smile.
"Others aren't getting a piece?" Zoya asked in concern.
"Of course they will, But you go first." Maya said with a big smile.
Zoya slowly took the fork and digged into the cake. She took the piece and put it in her mouth.
Umm..
It was bland.
It was equivalent to eating sand.
Or kinetic sand.
"How is it?" Maya asked.
Zoya looked at her face, Trying to gulp the cake down.
Maya's face was bright.
"Delicious." Zoya said keeping her hands in her face.
Everyone understood her expressions.
Maya distributed the cake to everyone and waited for their response.
They all looked at eachother and took a bite.
It tasted bland.
They tried making excuses and went out one by one along with the cake to dispose them without Maya knowing ut.
"I'll go to a balcony and eat so I'll enjoy both the view and the cake." Yash said.
"I'll go and choose and a good view to take a pic of this cake." Aditya said.
"I'll help him hold the camera" Pooja said and followed him.
"I'll call Maahi to tell what she's missing " Noor said.
"I'll help her dial the number." Zoya said and followed Noor.
Arjun stayed there.
"Does it taste bad?" Maya said and went to get a bite from Arjun.
But he stuffed the whole piece into his mouth.
"It's nice" He said.
She saw an extra piece on the table, They both raced to get the cake but Maya moved swiftly and ate it.
"Eww" She said as soon as she ate it.
Everyone were coming downstairs, But stopped as they saw Maya and Arjun. The plan did work out.
Maya was angry.
"Why did you eat it?" She asked him.
Arjun immediately pulled her to his lap and made her sit quietly.
"Because you made it. I know how much you work towards something you want." He said.
It melted her heart, She blushed hard.
She covered her face and smiled wide.
"Don't do that, You think that I don't know that you're blushing?" He asked, Removing her hands off her face.
"After the marriage I'll make you blush more." Arjun said and smirked.
She hit him playfully.
Others were hiding in the staircase and were watching them.
They stopped themselves from making any noise.
Even tough, Aditya snorted Maya and Arjun didn't notice.
Pooja was smiling ear to ear.
Maya and Arjun hugged tightly.
"Just promise that you wouldn't cook again." Arjun said.
Maya laughed.
Pooja immediately, Swiftly switched the lights off and turned all the fiery lights on, As planned.
Arjun and Maya were shocked.
"Ah do you think it's planned?" Maya asked, Looking at the lights.
"I think so." Arjun said with a smile.
"Let's not ruin it." Arjun said and went closer to kiss her.
They closed their eyes and went for it, But was soon disturbed by everyone.
They all barged in and pulled them away.
"You are not going to do anything on my dining table." Pooja said.
