10- 'We are two puzzle pieces'

[ADITYA'S POV]

I spotted my mom talking to the doctor. I immediately took my wheelchair and I slowly moved the wheels to go towards my mom. I was close to her but a girl stopped me. She seemed to be the same age as mine. She wore a ponytail, Her bangs were gently touching her eyelashes and were moving a bit due to the wind. Her face had a hidden smile. She wore a blue frock. She looked at me and extended her right hand towards me. I tilted my head being confused. 'Lets be friends.' She spoke. Her left hand held the glucose stand. I hesitated a bit and shook hands with her. As soon as my hand touched hers, She smiled automatically. ' I'm Zoya. What's your name?' She asked.

' I'm Aditya.' 

'What happened to your leg?' She asked as she went passed me and started to move the wheelchair, While her other hand still held the glucose stand. 

'I fell while playing football' I replied. That's how we started to talking.

[Narrator's POV]

The sound of Aditya's ringtone woke him up. He got up. Half his eyes closed, He searched for his phone. He finally took it and read an unknown number. He attended the call and shrunk back to his bed, and covered himself with the blanket. 'Hello' Aditya spoke sheepishly.

'Hello! How have you been?' The unknown person spoke cheerfully.

'Who is this?' Aditya asked, Yawning.

'Huh, Seems you are still sleeping. Remember Arjun?' He laughed and asked.

'Arjun who?' Aditya tried thinking hard.

'I studied with you in school. Remember?'

Aditya was still confused. 

'Remember we got into a trouble because our teache-'

Aditya immediately remembered and woke up fully.

'Oh yeah, Arjun!' 

'Finally you remember me.' Arjun sighed.

'And get those file re-'

'Sorry Sir.' Zoya came running inside Yash's cabin, Panting. Yash smiled slightly looking at her being clumsy. Noor gave her a worried look. Yash raised an eyebrow and looked at his watch. 'Only 30 minutes late, You are improving, Congratulations' He said sarcastically. 

'Sorry sir, I'll be cautious hereafter.' Zoya said.
'Take these files to Mr.Lee' Yash said and gave the files to Noor, While Zoya was standing, Unsteady.
'Please, Sit.' Yash ordered.
Zoya sat down, Breathing heavily. He offered water. She took it and gulped in few seconds. 'Well, Miss Zoya.' Yash said and got up. Zoya payed full attention to him. 'My close friend is getting married soon and I trust you more than anyone to arrange the event. You have signed in my contract so I think you wouldn't refuse it, Am I right?' He said and looked at her.
'Yes sir.' Zoya said.
'Good. I have arranged a meeting between you and the clients by 4 in the evening and I expect you to be here by 3' He ordered.
'But why at 3?'
'Because you have always been early and we have all our hopes on you.' He said, Again giving a sarcastic smile.
'Yes sir' Zoya said and was about to leave until Yash called her. 'You can call me Yash from now.' Yash said with a smile. Zoya was confused. She gave a smile and said, 'Sure.'

'Isnt it your birthday in a few days?' Arjun asked, pushing his glasses towards his face with his finger. He seemed like a professional quiz player.
'Yes day after tomorrow.' Aditya replied. 'So it was a good idea to keep my Marriage in this month.' Arjun said a laughed. Arjun has always been slow witted since childhood. Aditya always wondered how they were friends. 'Is she coming to is cafe? Are you sure?' Aditya asked to change the topic.
' I'm sure. We met here for the first time, She wouldn't forget this place.' Arjun said with full confidence.
Sometime later She came and hugged Arjun. 'Aditya, This is Maya' Arjun said. Aditya was shocked. 'Oh my god! Where did all the fat go?' Aditya asked. Maya hit him playfully. 'You haven't changed yet' Maya said as she sat down.
'You know eachother?' Arjun asked,Surprised.
'Yes. I used to endure his genius brain for 4 years.' Maya said.
'And I used to pay all her bills for food' Aditya said. Arjun was shocked.
'So yeah we are finally getting married.' Maya exclaimed
' What about you Adi? Aren't you getting married? Are you dating someone?' Arjun asked.
'I did not find anyone as yet.' Aditya replied

Zoya was getting ready earlier to go to the meeting. At that time, She received a message from Yash; 'The meeting has been postponded to 9 pm. We have planned a dinner at Aditya's house. Please ask Noor to accompany you as I've given her the house address. Please keep in mind to come early.' Zoya sighed as she read the message. 

'What type of girl do you want?' Maya asked Aditya curiously.

'Are you planning to start a marriage agency after getting marrid?' Aditya asked.

'Come on. I'm trying to help you find a girl.' Maya insisted.

' He aldready has a girl in mind' Arjun interrupted while getting the food from the counter.

'Really? He never said anything about that till now.' Maya said, In a confused tone.

'He really loved a girl when he was in school.' Arjun said.

'Really? How was she?' Maya asked curiously.

' She was really pretty. And not only that but whenever I was with her, It felt as if I was in a different world which was free from all the problems. If I had any problem, I would go to her and somehow I always found a way.' Aditya said.

'OH MY. Are you still in touch with her?' Maya asked

'No. Lastly I remember her going in a car along with her parents. She said that she will come back someday but I dont think its true. Its been I guess 15 years.' 

'And you still remember her?'

' Not exactly. She would've changed over the years. I just remember the times spent with her. I dont remember her name at all.' Aditya said, disappointed

'Aah You guys were so cute then. You both always used to be together.' Arjun said.

'If you met her again, Would you like to be with her forever?' Maya asked

' I don't know. Things change, People change. If she remained the same and remembered me then probably we could get along.' Aditya said.

'Aww' Arjun and Maya said together, Pouting.

'Can we have foood now if you have closed your match-making work?' Aditya said.
