41 - Always

"Hello Zoya." Aditya said softly.
"Hi, How was your day?" Zoya asked.
"Fine, I got alot of work done and many things happend."
"Oh, That's great!"
"Yeah" Aditya said and diverted his attention elsewhere.
Zoya was confused.
Aditya looked at something seriously.
Zoya was curious.
"Aditya" Zoya called.
Aditya let out a Hum which was below the audible Decibels.
"Talk to me" Zoya whined.
He didn't reply.
"What are you doing?" Zoya asked.
"Looking at our old pictures." Aditya finally replied.
Zoya was still curious.
"You looked chubbier before." Aditya said and laughed.
"Ah, No." Zoya said.
The door bell rang for Aditya.
He ran to open it.
He came back with a beautiful smile after a few seconds.
"That was my manager." Aditya said.
Zoya hummed in reply.
"And today was awkward." Aditya started.
"A girl confessed that she likes me, She was like Umm yeah and I was blank. It was super awkward." Aditya said and laughed.
"Okay? " Zoya said.
Aditya looked at her again.
"Why did you call? " Zoya asked.
"Because I haven't seen you all day." Aditya said.
Aditya slightly blushed and covered his face.
"Oh and, I have something." Aditya said and went to get something.
He came back with a greyish transparent bouquet with flowers filled in it of all shades of yellow to orange and red.
It looked really pretty.
Aditya sneaked his face into the camera to look at Zoya in a cute way.
"These are for you." Aditya said.
"I really thought I forgot. I was so close to forgetting. I was like, 'Is it today? Really today?' So here It is. I got this for you." Aditya said.
"Thank you so much." Zoya said.
She was really happy and touched.
"I actually thought of getting you something else but I didn't." Aditya said, Keeping the flowers beside him.
"Why didn't you get it?" Zoya asked.
"Because I thought that'll make you fall in love with me more." Aditya said and laughed.
Zoya rolled her eyes.
"So, How was your day?" Aditya asked.
"It was good, So Joon and Si Hye surprised me." Zoya replied.
"That's good, It good that you weren't alone." Aditya said.
They spoke for a long time until Zoya slept, Listening to him with the computer open.
Aditya saw it and disconnected the call.
He smiled looking at her.

A week passed by sooner than expected. Zoya completed most of her work and slept well.
Aditya finished the entire game designing process and he was just waiting for the game launch.
Aditya really loved how the entire game looked like.
He wasn't able to wait to show the outcome to Zoya.

"I'm going back." Yash said and packed his bags.
"No, Yash what are you doing?" Noor asked, Looking at him being confused.
"It does not feel right here. I have to go, Atleast for Pooja. " Yash said.
"But what about Aditya and the game launch? It's in less than a month. " Mole said.
"Aditya can take care of himself now Moreover, He has Zoya now."
"But you are his best friend."
"Pooja is my best friend too. "
"Really? Your actions don't say that."
".....?"
"If you are really her friend, Why do you worry alot about her?"
"Because I know her, She is not in a good condition right now and I have to be with her."
"Yash but there is nothing going that bad, Her parents are disowning her and you have always told me that that's the best for Pooja and Aditya"
"But Aditya does not care."
"Then why do you care"
"Because I'm concerned about her."
"Why suddenly?"
"I've always loved her."

There was intense silence between them. Noor was more heartbroken.
Noor liked Yash but never got to say it.
Yash never understood her.
Hearing that the person she loved loves someone else is heartbreaking, Especially when that person does not understand that you love him.
Noor stood there wondering what had happened and absorbing all the information.
Yash left without a word.
Noor saw him go.
Did he leave her before anything started?

It was nearly midnight and Zoya was sleeping.
Someone knocked the door several times.
She saw the time.
It was 12:47 AM.
Zoya groaned and went to open the door.
She opened the door to see no one standing there.
Zoya was confused and looked around  the corridor.
It was empty.
She sighed and was going to enter bit someone pulled her into the house and locked the door behind her.
