day 1

i took a deep breath as i stood in front of the white marble building in front of me. Valkyrion academy i said as i ran a hand through my short jet black hair. as i walked inside i saw  valkyrions, elite soliders who are considered the best.as i walked to the main hall, i looked around and found an open seat. everyone grew quiet when a tall woman around 6' with lovely long blonde hair and pale skin her red eyes looked out into the crowd of new students. 

 Valhalla Nord stood at a large marble podium as she told us all about the wonders of joining the military and how much we'll learn while we are here, also she said as she was ending her speech, i would like to introduce a new member of faculty for the year, joining us from regnum national unstitution of education is eric crassus, as we all looked up we were all at least a little suprised, the guy looked no older than 23, he had a long braid of silver golden blonde hair that rested on a navy jacket that contrasted with his deep tan skin, and his green eye looked like they were staring into my soul.

hello all of you, i'm going to tell you as it stands, many of you are from wealthy families and while i honor their decision to send you here, many of you will drop out, if you hope to be valkyrions, you need not only to be physically strong but also mentally and emotionally strong, you need to be able to fight for yourself, you need to be able to take orders, but still think for yourself and be able to do any line of work whether it's extracting an orphan from a field in africa to destroying armies. You need to be ready for anything, that being said, you all know who i am, but i doubt many of you have seen me this close, i will tell you now, i will be a hard teacher, you will hate me if you don't understand why i am doing this, if you don't i will personally see to you being transferred out of my class, my class by the way is manditory, thank you valhalla said, as mr. crassus said, he is out new combat and language instructor. you will all be required at some point to take a combat class with him this year. she said to the class of five thousand.

as i left i spotted someone standing next to professor crassus. "professor." i said as i walked up to him. there was a sword tip at my throat before i could realized it appeared, "your a witch" the professor said, "and what do you want". he looked at me with those green eyes that looked as cold as a glacier, "i wanted to ask you if you had any tips to learning combat" i sais as i backed away slowly from the sword. What's your name eric asked as he lowered the golden sword with a red line running down the middle to a red hilt and blue grip, the sword disappeared Ben I said looking at him with deep blue eyes, Ben Jerry I said. Well Ben it's good to meet you, you know my name, you should settle in, but don't get to comfortable you could be one of the students that drops out from my classes. He said his voice and face emotionless. Walking by him the professor resumed talking to the dark haired man next to him. As I walked away I looked back he looked at me for a second and then looked away. Looking ahead I pulled a folded up piece of paper out of my pocket as I let my magic unfold it as I looked for which dorm I was in. As I opened the door my roommate sat there in the spacious room. he was unpacking, he looked over to me with bright brown eyes. hello he said, you must be Ben he said, i am as i looked at him, he looked to be about 18, he had short black hair and bright red eyes, he was a vampire. I am i said and you must be Alphonse I said, i am, i didn't realize thatyou were a vampire i said as i walked over to the other bed i the room. where you expecting a lion shifter he said, no but, you must have an unhealthy fear of blood alphonse said. I think i do ben said as he smiled, were gonna get along just fine i thought, as we finished getting comfortable. we both decided to walk around the expansive campus. so what's your last name alphonse, oh it's veile-york, my parents wanted me to come here, which branch of that family, the veile family was famous as the head of the family selene was the head of the magic council and it's only daughter was a member of ADL. so what do you want to get out of this school alphonse asked.I want to work for the council i want to be a diplomat, i want to help expand regnum's influence in the world, and help those who i can i said to Alphonse as we walked throught the street. that's a pretty lofty goal, hey what did you think of eric crassus, he's certainly powerful i could feel from where i sat at the back of the auditorium. he's only 40 alphonse said. he's young. How do you know he's forty i asked, common knowledge, you can find it on the internet. "i wonder what type of combat we're going to learn with him" alphonse said. "well i guess we will find out when we got to class tomorrow." i said.
