The four of them, Clara, John, Sherlock and John were once again in the TARDIS. The Doctor began to press buttons again and pulled a lever.
~~~
Dean, Sam and Cas watched as the TARDIS disappeared and suddenly materialized in the blurry haze. They watched in awe as the blue box began to spin. Dean quickly rushed forward to attach the hook to the box but it was spinning much too fast. He tried to grab at the door but failed repeatedly.
"You gonna help me Sammy?" Dean asked as he grunted with the effort of trying to attach the hook again and failing once more.
Sam rushed forward and tried to help Dean. He took the hook from Dean to attach it himself but failed too.
"Come on!" Sam said, frustrated, after another failed attempt.
"May I try?" Cas said, making Sam jump in surprise.
"Y-yeah. Here." Sam replied, handing him the hook.
Castiel's face furrowed in concentration and in one swift movement, he quickly attached the hook to the box successfully.
The TARDIS continued to spin, wrapping the rope around itself. Dean hurriedly grabbed the end of the rope and pulled hard, making the box jerked to a quick stop. Sam and Cas grabbed the rope as well and together, the three of them pulled. Soon, they had unwrapped the TARDIS from the rope and it was held together by only the hook. As the TARDIS attempted to spin, Team Free Will kept it stable.
They were now in a huge tug-of-war game with a blue time travelling police box. The box had stopped spinning now and was not making the usual wheezing noises. It was now making more of a shuddering, banging noise that did not sound too healthy.
~~~
"Clara! Pull that lever! Now!" The Doctor exclaimed as the TARDIS spun.
"Which way?!" Clara shouted back, not wanting to make the same mistake as before.
"UP!" he said.
Clara moved for the lever and pushed it up. The box stabilized and then began to make a sound as if it was getting strangled. The Doctor was pushing more buttons and then grabbed a wrench from somewhere underneath the console and wacked it hard with the wrench. John jumped in suprise and looked at the Doctor in confusion until he realized the wierd sound had stopped.
The Doctor began to press more buttons and moved the TARDIS' console screen towards himself and studied it intently. "Could you press the orange button in front of you John?"
"Yep." John said without a moments hesitation.
As soon as John pressed it, the TARDIS began to make a sucking noise.
~~~
Dean held onto the rope tightly and soon, a suction noise blared from the TARDIS. Dean and Sam flinched in surprise and resisted the urge to let go of the rope and block their ears. Cas, unfazed by this loud noise held onto the rope tightly.
They TARDIS shuddered once more and the portal that the police box was in between began to shrink. As it grew smaller and smaller, Dean, Sam and Castiel pulled harder and harder until the TARDIS tilted to the sijust at the last minutes and fell onto it's side as the portal shut closed.
Dean, and Sam sighed in relief and in exhaustion. Cas, well...As always, he was unfazed.
The doors of the police box, opened and the left door hit the floor and the right door swung open wide. Sherlock, John, Clara and the Doctor climbed out of the fallen TARDIS and turned to where the portal had previously been. The Doctor looked around and spotted a very exhausted looking Sam and Dean wiping sweat of their forheads.
"This isn't as hard as I thought!" Clara said, beaming with happiness from their success.
They all nodded in agreement. Laughing and joking around when John asked, "How are you going to get the TARDIS upright again?"
The Doctor looked at his sexy without a hint of worry and smiled at John, "She'll be fine. I just got to go back in and with a press of a button, she'll be good as new!"
After crawling back into the fallen TARDIS, and just like the Doctor had said, with the push of a button, the TARDIS was once again standing upright. With that fixed, they went back to Sherlock and John's apartment and celebrated.
Dean, and Sam had a bottle of beer in hand as the others drank tea. When Sherlock, John, Clara and the Doctor had asked for tea, Dean had rolled his eyes and whispered to Sam, "British people." Sam had rolled his eyes with a smirk and went to talk to talk to John. Cas had declined the offer of drinks and was sitting on the couch, watching everyone else chatter away.
"Hey." Clara said with a smile, as she walked over to Cas.
Cas smiled back, "Hello." He answered.
"So...anything happening?" She asked, giving him a side glance.
Cas gave her a confused look and Clara laughed.
"You know, with Dean?" She said, whispering when she said Dean's name.
Cas wished that something had happened but nothing had. He shook his head and Clara sighed.
"You've gotta make the first move you." She said after a moment of silence. Castiel's eyes widened. "I - I...How?" He said, stuttering in embarrassment.
Clara gave him a mischievous grin and said, "You don't!"
Cas gave her another puzzled look.
"I will..." she exclaimed and it dawned on him. He understood what her plan was and he was going to play along...even if it meant he had to make Dean jealous.
