NOTHING COULD GET LANDO off Ana's mind. Every step she took, every breath she took, every breath she took it all reminded her of Lando. Even her friend Mel was starting to get annoyed at the girl's attitude even thought it's just been a week. "Cheer up Ana. He's a douche and the moment he finds out that she hit you first he'll dump her." Melissa mumbles, rubbing her friend's back.

"It doesn't matter Mel! Can't you see? He chose to believe that blonde bitch instead of me! His girlfriend and now everyone is posting pictures of them together in New York," Ana turns away from her friend refusing to let the tears fall. Her voice cracked, "It hurts Mel."

The blonde looked at Ana with sympathy. "Well you know you can rely on Lucas, Lewis, Charles, Daniel, me and everyone else right? They're all pretty much hating Lando at the moment." Ana laughed as she remembered what they all commented on his Instagram.

Mel presses her lips into a thin line and looks at her wrist watch—her blue eyes widening. "Holy crap I'm going to be late to my lecture. I'll see you later Ana and text me if you need anything." She hurriedly said before leaving Ana's apartment.

Everything was now quiet and she hated it. The moment of peace made her mind think of Lando and how great he looks with Charlotte. Sighing Ana wiped her cheeks before exiting the living room. She sat outside staring at the skyline. Her apartment wasn't too far from King's Park but it was a good drive away from Murdoch University where she's doing her course.

Ana wished that she had listened to Daniel's advice before she started dating Lando. If she had taken the time to get to know him a bit more—maybe she wouldn't be in this situation.

By now her cousin should be in France for the race. Quickly Ana pulled out her phone dialling Daniel's number, not caring what time it was. "Hey Daniel!" Ana said holding the phone close to her ear. There was a bit of shuffling from the other side of the phone before Daniel replied. "Ana hey. Is everything okay? What's up?"

"Everything hurts Daniel." Her voice cracked and she struggled to not cry. Daniel groans from the other side of the phone making Ana giggle softly—she knew exactly what he was going to say next. "I told you so."

"I know and I should've listened. Anyways I have a favour to ask you," Daniel hummed in response allowing her to proceed. "Can you get me tickets for the Austrian Grand Prix next weekend? Because it's a double race weekend?"

Daniel frowns. "Are you sure it's the best idea for you to come to the track? What happens if you run into Lando?"

"I'll ignore him plus I want to see Victoria, Sophie and Max's girlfriend if she's going." Ana replies. Daniel scoffs taking offence that his cousin didn't want to see him.

"I'll get you tickets and email them to you. Be careful Ana." The brunette rolled her eyes at his protectiveness before nodding her head.

"Always."

murdoch university along with king's park is a real place in perth by the way. also if you ever happen to be in perth and you're driving along the freeway towards perth and under the bridge you'll see these apartments that are up near king's park—that's where our main character ana lives. also i really debated myself whether ana should attend ecu, murdoch or john curtain lol.
