THE AUSTRIAN GRAND PRIX was going horrible for Ana Ricciardo. On the Friday she had caught sight of Lando walking around the paddock with a bitchy blonde in his arms and to make matters worse they were seen being lovey dovey on all the screens that were plastered at the track. Even on Saturday Ana once again saw Lando and Charlotte together. She hated every second of it.
Lewis had invited all the drivers for dinner as everyone was a bag of nerves. He of course also invited the WAGS (wives and girlfriends) of Formula One to come along as well excluding Lando and Charlotte.
"You look lovely Ana." Lewis mumbles kissing both of the Australian's cheeks making her smile. The British pulled the chair out for Ana to sit down. She was sat between Daniel and Charles while Lewis sat across from her.
The table was long. Very long. It was accomodating at least twenty five people or more as they talked all night long about their worries for the next day's race. Ana frowned a sick feeling in her stomach—she felt like throwing up.
"Excuse me Charles I need to go the restroom." Ana says standing up and giving the Monegasque a small smile.
She stood staring at herself in the mirror. Her complexion was perfectly smooth thanks to the help of foundation but she looked pale despite the Australian tan. The nauseous was evident and she rushed to the toilet sinking to her knees while emptying out the contents of her stomach. It's been like that for at least three weeks or so by now. Sometimes the sick feeling in her stomach would leave or sometimes she'll just throw up.
Ana gurgled water into her mouth before spitting it back out. She reapplied her lipstick and exited the restroom. Just as she was passing by a table a hand harshly grabbed her forearm. "Ana. How lovely to see you." Charlotte says a sickening smile on her face.
Ana turned around. Her mood suddenly changed and she glared at the blonde. "Likewise Charlotte." Ana says pulling her forearm away from her.
"How does it feel?" Charlotte asks her eyebrows raised as she takes a sip of champagne. "Knowing that Lando chose me over you? I didn't expect him to fall for it you know. Killing two birds with one stone indeed."
"You bitch." Ana remarked a look of disgust evident on her face. She didn't know how someone can be so cruel and vile.
"Please. I'll slap you again if I have to." Ana shrugs while rolling her eyes. She couldn't careless about Charlotte's threats.
"You slapped her that night?" A voice interrupts them. Ana looks back towards the way that she came from—Lando standing there in all his glory. He looked between the two women and glared at Charlotte waiting for her to say something.
"Lando baby you saw what happened that night. She was going to slap me remember?" Charlotte says. Panic flashes through her eyes before she rushed up to stand beside Lando who only removed himself from her grasp.
Ana sniggered at the situation in front of her. "Why don't you stop lying Charlotte? Do us all a favour and tell him it was you who had hit me."
"Wow. I can't believe that you'd something like that Charlotte," Lando hissed looking at the girl that stood beside him. His eyes looked over at Ana a feeling of regret burrowing itself deep inside his stomach.
"You should've believed me." Ana says before leaving. She ran out the restaurant just when the waterworks kicked in. Her sobs were loud and the more she cried the tighter her chest felt. At one point she struggled to breath as she walked back to her hotel.
