ANA RICCIARDO'S HEART SWELLED as she read the letter that Lando had slid underneath her door. She had no clue on how he found out what hotel or what room she was staying at considering that all the other Formula One drivers are refusing to talk to the Brit. Meet me tonight at 8pm sharp and you can bring Brody if you'd like.

She smiled softly—rereading the letter as her fingers touched her lips. Lando wanted to meet with her at his hotel room and no matter what the Australian told herself Lando still had the same effect on her just like he did back in Monaco.

The brunette was sure that she was over Lando Norris, the nineteen year old British driver racing for the McLaren F1 team but no. Not even twenty four hours back into her life Lando was already making Ana doubt her feelings.

"Do you want to see daddy tonight bub?" Ana cooed scooping the two month old baby in her arms. "But we have to pretend that we don't like him okay? We can't have him thinking that he's already won us over." Brody leaned his head against his mum's chest closing his eyes and falling asleep—listening to Ana's heartbeat.

She couldn't help but think that she was crazy talking to a baby who didn't even know how to speak. According to the doctor it's good for the mother's to talk to their child is if they can understand them. Apparently it helps them form a bond. "Now why don't we get yo-"

Ana smiles looking at Brody asleep in her arms. She quickly put him down on his bed and hurriedly rushed to get ready making a mental note to change Brody the moment he woke up.

"Ana!" Lando exclaims holding the door wide open for the Australian. He grinned brightly the moment he saw that Brody was being carried by his baby mummy. Lando quickly grabs the bag full of baby supplies from Ana's arm and guided her into the room.

"Can you please get the blanket out of the bag and Brody's bear please?" Ana asks bouncing the baby on her knee. Lando nods, quickly grabbing the things she needed. He laid the blanket out on the bed and placed the teddy bear next to it.

"Can we talk please Ana?" Lando asks looking over at Brody who was now laying down. Ana takes a deep breath playing with her fingers, nodding her head. She didn't know how this conversation was going to turn out but she didn't want Lando to know that he had already won her over with the sweet letter that he had wrote.

"I was so stupid for believing Charlotte. I shouldn't have trusted her and I should've believed you. For gods sake you were my girlfriend." Ana hummed in response her eyes staring off into the distance as she's reminded of the memories. "And why didn't you tell me? Why didn't you tell me that I had a son?"

The brunette shrugs. "We hadn't talked in weeks at that point and I only found out when I got back to Perth. So if I had contacted you out of no where saying that I was pregnant you wouldn't believe me."

"I would've believed you Ana. Trust me I've learnt from my past mistakes." Ana chuckles. He might've learnt from his past mistakes but what he did still scared Ana. What if he was to do it again? Leave her and her baby for somebody else?

"If I allow you to see him," Ana says closing her eyes for a brief second. She didn't want to make it easy for Lando to wedge his way into her life. "it doesn't mean that you and I are a thing. We're just parents trying out co-parenting."

"Yes. Of course." Lando replies, a cheeky smirk on his face. The wheels were turning in his head as he was constructing a plan on winning the Australian back and he was sure it was bound to work.

There's a comfortable silence as the two continued to look at Brody who was now asleep clutching onto his bear for dear life. "You know what you wrote on that letter was really sweet right?" Ana says a small smile on her face.

"It was meant to be sweet babes."
