Chapter 3

Nick Fury's POV
I finally figured those three teens out, they were the children of the Big Three that left Camp-Half-Blood because of the war. I personally wasn't there because I was sent on this mission years ago to help the mortals. Yes I am a demigod, son of Athena what did you expect, me to be a son of Ares, please I would rather plan strategies than actually fight. Though I am pretty good at fighting.
Clint Barton's POV
"What the hell do you mean by children of the gods?" I walked into the room with the teens and overheard them talking about children of gods, I'm a curious soul I had to ask. The oldest, I think, turned to me with a glare that scared the shit out of me (not literally.) "We don't need to answer any of your questions, so get the fuck out of here before Thalia beats your ass for the second time today." I flinch, one because ouch my pride, being beaten by a teenaged girl and two, "Watch your language buddy, or else Steve will come for you." I silently laughed at the inside joke but then laughed even more at seeing the confused looks coming from the teens. "Okay kid-" I started, "I am not a kid." The kid interrupted me, "Okay sorry about that sir," I mockingly bow, "but we aren't gonna do anything to you, our director Nick Fury took interest in you and decided you should be on the team, we are just trying to make friends with you." The kids obviously not liking the fact that I bowed down to them, shuffled uncomfortably. I shook my head in amusement, "Why don't you come meet the team?" They followed me back to the training room.
Bruce Banner's POV
Those kids were terrifying there was no doubt about it. I looked at Thor who seemed to be freaking out, "Hey Thor? What's up with you lately, your like freaking out over a bunch of teens." He stared at me in shock and then, to my surprise, rage. "How dare you call them mere teens they are the saviour of-" Before he could finish his sentence there was a flash of lightning and the god of thunder was on his butt, "Thor, watch your mouth, we can't have the entire world know of our existence now can we." The girl, Thalia was standing threateningly over Thor and Thor was cowering in fear! "Yo what the hell Thor! These are kids! You are a god! You could easily beat them!" Thor looked at me with fear in his eyes, "I am no match for Earth's mightiest heroes." I stared at him, we were Earth's mightiest heroes.
There was clapping coming from the door, "Well done Thalia Grace, ex-Hunter and daughter of-"
WHOOSH!
In less than a millisecond the boy, Perseus, had a-wait! Is that a sword!- the boy had a sword in his hand held to Nick Fury's throat, "Speak another word of our parentage in front of these mortals and you will soon learn what it is like to be decapitated." Perseus had a dark aura surrounding him, it was terrifying, "Now, now Perseus, from one demigod to another, why don't we save the decapitation for another time, since we are going to be under attack in a few years by both mortal and demigod enemy's." That got Perseus, he stumbled back in shock and dropped his sword. "We left that other life behind Athena spawn, don't go trying to pull us back in." That's all he said but Nick replied, "Sorry Perseus, but we need the children of the Big Three. We won't make you go back to camp, we will let you stay here and educate these mortals about our world." Thalia laughed, "You want three ADHD and dyslexic teenagers teaching 'Earth's mightiest heroes' yeah I don't think that's gonna work."
"Hold up, hold up, what do you mean, 'us mortals' your speaking as if we are a different species from you guys." Percy gave me a blank stare, "Well it's true, we are very different." I was so confused, "Can you start explaining?" Nico walked up to me, "We will once these dunces wake up after that we will talk." So that was it, we had to wait.

Nico's POV
The rest of the 'Avengers' finally woke up after an hour and we finally sat down to talk. They all started to ask questions but I held my hand up, "Do any of you know about the Greek and Roman gods?" Thor nodded his head harshly and the other guy, Bruce I think also nodded. "Good, so you know that they tend to have affairs with mortals right?" Again Thor and Bruce nodded, "Well, now don't interrupt me here, the Greek and Roman gods are real and they do exactly as I said before, they have affairs with mortals and when the child is born they are part human and part god. Thalia, Percy and I are children of the Big Three that you heard about. The Big Three are Zeus king of the sky and stuff he's a huge drama queen and is Thalia's dad. Poseidon is the god of the sea and horses and stuff and is Percy's dad. The last god is Hades god of the underworld and dead and riches, he's my dad. Any questions?"
After my mini rant/explanation the dude, Tony blurted out, "Why would we believe you?" I raised my eyebrow, "So you have a Norse god in you midst but it's too hard for you to comprehend Greek and Roman gods?" He looked flustered, "That's not what I meant, I mean how do we know you really are what you say you are." I shrugged and looked at Percy for help. He stepped forward, "We'll give you a little demonstration. Could we go back to the training place so we, as in Thalia, Nico and I can fight each other?" I laughed silently at the miffed looks from all the Avengers besides Thor who looked very excited. "I mean I guess but I really doubt you could do much because you are just kids with little experience." I winced as Percy's aura flared up to dangerous levels, "Perce, they are ignorant mortals that don't know anything about us, don't kill them yet." Thalia saved the day! With her words hanging in the air we headed to the training area from before. "Ok, so it's gonna be a three-way battle kinda thing, we've done this loads of times so we know when to stop. Do not try to intervene because if you do, you will most likely die, correct Thor?" I stared the rules and looked at Thor who looked surprised that I talked to him, he just nodded his head again. He nods a lot doesn't he?
Third Person POV
The three demigods formed a large triangle and faced off with there weapon of choice, Percy with Riptide, Thalia with her Hunter bow and Ageis her shield and Nico had his Stygian Iron sword. As if there was a whistle that signalled the start the three teens charged each other as if there done it before. Thalia summoned lightning and shot it at Percy who deflected it off his sword while he summoned a gigantic wave and sent it towards Nico. Nico, knowing he wouldn't be able to prevent the water onslaught, summoned an army of skeletons and sent them at Percy just before he got caught up in the wave. After Percy had sent the wave he attacked Thalia who had been shooting arrows at both boys, she quickly switched to a spear and charged Percy. They battled for a few minutes before seeing the skeletons coming for them. They teamed up to defeat the skeletons then went back to fighting each other. By this time Nico was back on his feet and he also joined the fight.
The Avengers could clearly see lightning flickering along Thalia's body, Nico was surrounded by the shadows around them and Percy had the entire pool churning and frothing from his fight. Finally Percy seemed to gain the upper hand and disarmed Nico who immediately backed off knowing he was beat. Nico never was able to keep up with them. Thalia and Percy now went all out knowing they wouldn't harm Nico now that he was out. They didn't really care about how much they hurt each other though. Thalia summoned a lot of lightning and this time Percy couldn't deflect it so he took it head on and was knocked all the way into the pool. He was immediately raised up from the pool, the water supporting him. He tossed half the pool at Thalia who dove helplessly to the side hoping to get out of there but the churning water caught her and she was spun around like clothes in a washing machine. The water spit her out and she flew straight into the wall leaving a Thalia shaped hole in the wall. A few minutes pass and Thalia didn't get up. Percy won, as always. He walked over to where Thalia lay and using his water healing powers he healed Thalia. The avenger plus Nico ran over. The Avengers minus Thor and Nico were freaking out over what happened but we're promptly shut up when Thalia stood up dusted off her clothes and laughed. She laughed at getting nearly killed! Nico and Percy joined in and then hugged.
Tony's POV
"What the hell!! You guys just beat the shit out of each other and now you're laughing like nothing happened!!" I burst out in fear and confusion, what was going on! "Families fight all the time, this is normal for us." I did a double take, these kids were related? They looked nothing alike! As if Percy was reading my thoughts he answered, "The gods are a family, brothers, sisters, children and wives and husbands. Hades, Poseidon and Zeus are brothers so that makes Thalia, Nico and I cousins, but for relationship reasons the godly part of our DNA doesn't count because technically the gods have no DNA. We could date each other as long as they don't have the same godly parent. Because then it's just incest and that's disgusting." I was still confused but it looked like Bruce and Thor understood somewhat. "Thor, how do you know these people?" Thor swiveled to look at me, "I don't feel like explaining, but I do know how you can find out and all." Magically 10 books appeared in front of all of us, "These books are Percy's life story up until the second giant war." Thor looked at Percy, Thalia and Nico hesitantly as if they might break down. That's exactly what they did. "They have my life in a book?!" Percy gasped out with tears running down his eyes. "Okay now I'm even more confused, why are you crying?" Thalia and Nico looked at us with red, puffy eyes while Percy was curled up in a ball crying, "Read the books to the end and you'll find out." Then they broke down even more. Surprisingly Percy stood up and dove into the pool, sinking to the bottom. I shrugged it off, he'll come up for air pretty soon anyway. I looked around and saw all of the Avengers immersed in the Percy Jackson books, I decided to also read.
~~~~~~~~~~ Time Skip ~~~~~~~~~~
It had been eight hours since we all started reading and Thalia and Nico were up and joking around. I looked around and questioned, "Wait, where is Percy?" Thalia shrugged, "Probably still moping at the bottom of the pool." I shrieked, "He's probably dead by now! He's been down there for eight hours!!" Nico held me back, "Are you forgetting that he is a son of Poseidon and can breath underwater?" I stared at him as if he grew two heads, "Oh my gods! He is the son of the sea god, did you really think he could drown?" I looked down in shame, I should've known. Just then Percy popped out of the water, "Hey I'm hungry, can we have blue cookies." I raised my eyebrow, "What is your obsession with blue food?" He shrugged, "Just a habit that never died." He walked towards the kitchen and all the Avengers plus Nico and Thalia followed. The Avengers with their nose in the Percy Jackson books and Thalia and Nico making sure they didn't die.
