Before the Sun Goes Down [Wanda x Vision fan fic]

(12) Premonition

[Third Person P.O.V, Thursday]

Vision tossed and turned in his sleep. Visions of dust, aliens, and a forest rampaging into his mind. Wanda woke to the ruckuss and quickly shaked him. He quickly sat up, gasping for air as he sees one last thing; a giant taking the mind stone from his head. Vision trembles as he tries to catch his breath. "Vizh? Talk to me, are you okay? What's wrong?" She asks him as he cups his face. He held her hands as his mind adjusts to his surroundings, the nightmare slipping away from his mind. "I never knew that nightmares were so frightening..." He mumbles and Wanda hugs him close. He buries his face into her shoulder, feeling safe and secure in her arms. "Do you want me to take a look at it?" She asks and he shakes his head. He didn't want her to see what he saw even if it was slipping away from his consciousness, he knew that it'll scare her. "Just stay with me for now." He says as he holds her hand and kisses it."

Wanda accepts this as they lay back down. It was still pretty late in the night, around 2 am to be exact, so Wanda began to sing Vision a lullaby. He was still hesitant of falling asleep, but before he knew it, he was off. It was a peaceful kind of sleep this time, dreamless, really. When Vision woke up, Wanda had already prepared breakfast for him. She kissed his cheek and pokes his face so he would wake up. Vision smiles as he sits up. "G'morning, love." He says, already half forgotten about the nightmare. He then picks her up and they both laugh as he carries her to the kitchen. She just made some oatmeal so they decided to eat it on the couch.

They turned the T.V on as they lean on eachother's sides. There was something at the back of Vision's head, it was trying to knock itself back into his consciousness, but it can't get there. He was bothered by this. He felt like he was missing something. Wanda didn't speak about the night's incident. She didn't want to remind him of the nightmare that was so bad that it made him tremble. Vision has never stayed with Wanda for this long. He would only stay for at least two days, sometimes four if they were lucky. But now, he can stay for as long as he wants, even though Stark knows where they are. This still bothered Wanda, buy seeing how disturbed Vision was a few hours ago, she decided to keep her mouth shut.

The day was like the rest of the days they were together. Casual conversations, a few kisses here and there. Vision has fully forgotten about everything, and the feeling was gone too. Once they were in bed, Wanda layed her head on his chest. They weren't really tired, they were just absorbing eachother's company. This was the peace that they have been dreaming off these past two years. The peace that they want and deserve is the peace that they now have.

"Vizh, can I ask you a question?" Wanda says as Vision plays with her hair and nods. "When you said that you wanted people to see me as you do, what did you mean?" Vision was suprised that she still remembers this. "Well, I want them to see you." He shrugs and she looks up at him. "And what do you see me as?" It takes Vision a moment to think of an answer. She was everything to him, really. No words can describe how she is to him. But he knows that she won't accept that answer, so he picks the best out of the hundreds of words that was in his head.

"You're a remarkable person, Wanda. Truly extraoridnary." He says with a smile and smiles too. "I think that you're remarkable and extraordinary too." She replies and he chuckles. "I love you, Wanda." He says before kissing her. It was a bliss moment for the two of them, a moment they want to keep in a glass jar and keep tucked safe in their hearts.

Aaaaaa sorry this is late, I kinda fell asleep.
