[Vision's P.O.V, Wednesday]
Wanda woke up earlier than I did. I found her sipping a cup of tea as she stared at the outside world. She looked broken again, and it broke my heart to see her like that. I walk over to her and kiss her head and she simply leans on my chest. She was silent and still, and I felt that her guard was up. She was scared. I wish that I hid that letter better. She was having such a great time, and I think I ruined it.
"Do you want to do anything today, love?" She simply shrugs. My phone then goes up, it's Natasha. It read.
"Wanda's the type of person who should like dates, give it a try."
God bless you, Natasha.
"Why don't you... go shower. I'll make us some breakfast." She looks up at me and tilts her head. "I'm taking you on a date." She smiles at me, it may be faint but progress is progress. She then puts her cup down and heads to to the shower. I quickly get to work.
I make her some scrambled eggs with some toast on the side. I figured that it was too cold outside, so instead of having a picnic, I decided that we should go around the city to frolic. She then exits the room, wearing some a white sweater. She puts her coat down on the chair and takes a seat. I serve her some food and she silently eats. I decide to change my form and clothing more appropriate for our date. We ate in silence. I secretly watch her, I could still feel tense around her. I hope that this date works.
After we eat, she stands up to start and wash the dishes, but I quickly pull her away. "The dishes can wait, c'mon." She lightly chuckles and puts ger coat on, nodding at me. I quickly take her outside, and she looks around. People were walking around while some were in their bikes. The cold spring air hitting us. Wanda laces her arms around mine as we take a stroll. She remained silent, but I can see the smile creeping up on her face as she watches children run around. That smile, I missed that smile.
The day was spent joyfully. Though she can't help but watch her back every once in a while, we went around town, visiting a few historical places, eating lunch, and chilling at the park. Come sun set and I decide to take her somewhere else. I look around me and made sure no one was looking. "Wanda, can you hang on to me for a second?" She nods and clings herself onto me, I then propel ourselves into the air, and then we were flying. She begins to laugh as the surge of energy comes through her. We stay in the air for a bit, admiring the view. We watch the sunset, free from anyone's grasp.
I land at a nearby hill and gently place her down. The sun has set, and stars littered the sky. I take my phone out and play a track.
To wait, To wit, To woo- Rachel Shermanni.
I then offer my hand to her, and she takes it. I pull her close and start to sway her. She finds it funny for a moment, then she lays her head on my chest. I hug her close, making sure that it's clear that I'm never letting her go. We dance under the stars for what seems like hours. Before we knew it, the northern lights was blazing above our heads. She looks up and I can just see the wonder spring into her eyes. Her mouth gapes slightly as her eyes light up, I miss that look.
She laughs as she runs around. "It's so beautiful!" She rejoices and I laugh along with her. "Just like you, darling." I smile and she smiles back at me. She then runs into my arms and wraps hers around me. "Thank you for this, Vis." She mumbles againts my coat. I lift her chin up. "Anything for you, love." I then lean down and kiss her. I don't know what to name the exact feeling that I get whenever I kiss her. It's blazing sparks, fireworks, maybe an electric shock. She wraps her arms around my neck to keep the kiss. I then bury my face into her hair, never wanting to let go.
"I love you, Wanda. I won't let anybody hurt you, you know that... right?" And she nods. "Of course I do." She says and I nod. "I love you, too... Vizh.
After swaying eachother for a little longer, I decide to fly us home. We then arrive home and crash down on the couch. She nuzzles into me and I let her. I smile as I close my eyes for a moment until I suddenly feel a piercing pain on the stone. It's sudden, so I flinch. Then it's gone. Wanda looks up at me. "Are you alright?" She asks, and I nod. "I'm fine, maybe I just got tired." I'm not so sure what happened, but I didn't want to worry her.
She nods and nuzzles into me and closes her eyes. I don't know what to make of that pain, but it the stone gave me one feeling. It was the feeling of fright.
