The supermarket

Emerald's pov

I reached the supermarket with the help of my new acquaintance, Aaron
"Thanks for the help," I said while looking for a cart.
"I can stay if you want?"he said while blushing,"just because I have nothing better to do and it look like you need some help"
"Yes please!!" I amost shouted
"Ok cool," He said
I gave him a cart and we were off, looking for the items on the list.

While walking down the aisles, we chatted
"Soo, what are you doing out of school?"
I asked not looking at him
"I can ask you the same thing shortie," he spoke with a smirk.

"I'm on the student council, and they told me to get some supplies for orientation day or something like that"
He said with a tired look on his face.

"Well, I now moved here," I told him, reaching for the bread.
But I couldn't reach. Still struggling, he laughs at me and got it for me. I turned around and realized the position we're in.
I blushed profusely and dodged under his arm
"So what school are you going to?" He asked with curiosity
"Why do you wanna know?" I chuckled
"Oh c'mon," he laughs
"Crimson high school," I replied
"Really?!" He asked with excitement, "No joke?!"
"Yup," I said while placing the last item in the cart.
We reached the cash register and I asked him "hey, do you want to help me
carry these back to my house?,"with a smile on my face.
"It'll be my pleasure,"he said as he bowed jokingly.

We arrived at my house and told him to stay quiet, knowing that my mother wouldn't be that pleased to see a total stranger in her house.
I open the door and told him to rest them down on the floor.
He was about to walk around my house when I dragged him out.
"Thank you!" I told him, " I really appreciated it"
"No problem, can I get a hug for good deed?" He enquired and you could basically see his halo.
"Sure," I hug him and went back to my door.
"Bye,"
"Bye shortie," with that grin on his face.
