CHAPTER ONE:
Somebody Once Told Me the World Was Gonna Kill Me

"Where the hell are we?!" Bakugo yelled, exploding another corpse-like humanoid's face.

"You really think we have any idea?!" Kaminari cried, bashing more enemies over the head with a folding chair.

"It's like a zombie apocalypse..." Uraraka commented off-handedly. Jiro took the time to stop and give her a 'no shit, Sherlock' look. Shoji defended Koda from a couple of attackers, not noticing the one sneaking up behind him.

"Shoji! Watch out!" Kirishima called, starting to rush over, panic evident in his red eyes. There was a moment of terror, as everyone glanced over, but it was quickly interrupted by the attacker being blowtorched until nothing was left. Todoroki let out a deep breath before returning to his own enemies.

"Nice one, Todoroki!" Midoriya cheered, casually kicking one zombie so hard it flew into another and another, creating a domino effect as they all slammed into a neighboring wall which promptly crumbled on top of them, leaving only a splatter of blood and a couple of stray limbs visible. Bakugo growled under his breath, eyeing the opponents surrounding him and Iida.

"Yo, stick-up-his-ass! Combo attack, let's go!"

"Bakugo! That's very rude!" Iida took the blond's hands anyway and began to swing him around in a circle, using his quirk to burst the speed of rotations. Bakugo grinned sadistically, and once he was suspended in the air and still spinning, he raised his armored knees so they can finally do what they were designed to. Kill with his knees. The sharp point connected but Bakugo was spinning too fast, so the zombie stayed stuck on his knee, slamming into the others until all the surrounding zombies were pressed into one line. The spinning stopped and Bakugo slid across the ground a little, raising his hands in preparation for the next part of the combo. Iida hopped onto Bakugo's hands, readying recipro burst.

"Ready?"

"Go!" Iida affirmed, and pushed off, Bakugo's explosion propelling him even faster. "Recipro burst!" And with one sharp kick, all of the zombies in the line were suddenly headless. There was a small gap before the bodies hit the ground with soft thuds. Iida rushed over to Todoroki. "Todoroki!"

The said boy looked up, realizing what had happened and quickly bent down as Iida skidded to a stop, engines facing the icy hot boy. Todoroki pressed a hand down near Iida's overheating engines and carefully froze it, quickly moving onto the next before giving him the go-ahead. It was impossibly fast, as if they had practiced it thousands of times, and they had. That was what they'd been working on at U.A. for the last couple months. Second year was more about working with others, while first year was about getting the personal basics down.

Shinso would kill them if he knew, but all of the others were secretly keeping an eye on him and Hatsume since for one, Hatsume wasn't a hero, and two, Shinso had a year less experience than the rest. He was doing just fine though, all the training with Aizawa had really paid off. The magical attack scarf really was coming in handy.

Soon enough, but what seemed to be an eternity to the class, the last zombie went down in a raging burst of flames. It was quiet, and Iida turned to do a head count.

"Twenty-two... we've got everyone." Everyone let out a collective sigh of relief.

"Is anyone hurt?" Yaoyorozu called. Ashido raised her hand, along with Ojiro and Sato. She made her way over to the three, quickly and efficiently as possible patching up their bloodied knuckles, twisted ankle, and debris cuts.

"I thought I was gonna die!" Piped up Mineta, wiping away stray tears.

"Je was incroyable!" Aoyama remarked, a self-centered smile plastered across his face.
