Amyra was confused. She didn't know what to do. Her mind was filled with various thoughts.
"Is Austin the thief?"
"Did he tell someone to steal the book from me?"
"Has Austin found this book and safely kept it to return me later?"
"Should I ask him about this?""Wait, let me finish the remaining few pages".
Amyra quickly scrolled through the pages reading what she had left.
"This book is a true gem" she said while closing the book.
Amyra picked up the book and went upstairs back to the guest room. She kept the book in her bag and scrolled on her cellphone to see any calls from samcia. She kept her cellphone aside and zipped her bag.
"Should I go home? No... I can't. I can't even walk properly.
Amyra felt someone opening the door. She quickly went under her sheets and acted to be asleep.
She opened her eyes but quickly shut them before the tall man dressed in full black would notice."It's Austin. Is he here to see me sleep?".
The man sat beside Amyra. Now that Amyra was familiar to Austin's perfume she recognised that this guy wasn't Austin.
She opened her eyes and to her notice a man with grey eyes and slight beard was sitting beside her.
He gave her a cunning smile and before Amyra could scream out to Austin,he covered her mouth with a pillow and quickly kept a big handkerchief in her mouth so that she she couldn't scream.
He covered her eyes with a black cloth and tied her legs and hands.
Amyra tried to take her bag to hit the man but he took it away from her and threw it away.
He picked Amyra up on his shoulder and took her away.
Amyra couldn't see what was happening and where was he taking her. She kept on moving her legs but all in vain.
Amyra heard Austin's dogs barking on him and suddenly keeping quiet.
"Maybe, this man's face is familiar to the dogs".
She knew something was fishy. It wasn't normal for a human being to run so fast despite having weight on their shoulders.
He was jumping, sliding and much more without even tripping a little.
Amyra recalled a statement from the book and prayed that it should be fake.
"They are fast and silent".
Amyra kept calm. She didn't panic. She knew no matter what she did the man wouldn't leave her.
After few minutes Amyra was kept down. The guy roughly uncovered her eyes and removed the cloth from her mouth.
"W-who are y-you. Why are you doing this to m-me. P-please let me go. I-I won't tell anyone about this. I beg of y..."
"Shut your big ass mouth or else you won't be able to talk again".
Amyra found the voice familiar. She knew she had heard this somewhere, but couldn't recall.
He took out a knife and Amyra's heart skipped a beat. She started crying bitterly and shaking her head from left to right.
The guy cut the rope which was tied on her hands and legs.
Amyra squeaked a little. She got a little cut on her hand. It started bleeding little bit.
She remembered Austin. How once he had licked her finger and ran to get her first aid.
Amyra wished to have Austin today by her side. She took her hand to wipe out the blood with Austin's t-shirt which she was wearing when suddenly the man pulled her hand.
She looked in his eyes which were staring at her blood. He bought her hand near and licked Amyra's blood the same way which Austin had done once.
Amyra found it disgusting and pulled her hand towards herself. The man gazed in her eyes angrily.
His eyes...they weren't grey anymore. They were red by now.
Amyra recalled the statement from the book,
"Their eye colour changes to red".
The guy started coming close to her. Amyra tried pushing him away with all her force, but couldn't.
She felt the deep breath on her neck and a small tickling sensation as if teeth were touching her neck.
Amyra tightly closed her eyes and all she could do now is pray and hope Austin saves her yet once again.
