the sound of a cart scraping and rolling against a tile floor as swell as the flurry of pidder-paddering steps were the only noise that echoed throughout the grocery store. takashi grabbed things off the shelves and put them in the cart; if he could reach most of things. he would look back, to see if the shy boy was fallowing him.

he frowned when he seen the boy limping. "hey, do you want to sit in the cart?" he asked him.

the boy with bandages stopped his aching legs, hesitantly looking up from the ground. the boy didn't understand a thing he just said, but he knew if he did not answer something bad will happen.

takashi's eyes knitted together, taking notice that the boy didn't answer. he decided to walked towards him.

[y/n] jerked his hands up in a weak defense, freezing up like an icicle in a snowy day. takashi immediately stopped. he didn't want to frighten him. "i'm sorry. i didn't mean to scare you. i just wanted to put you in the cart, so your feet wouldn't hurt."

takashi looked down, rubbing his right arm in guilt. "i-i-it's okay, toono." he looked up at the boy as he realized he didn't know how to speak proper japanese. takashi didn't get to respond as the boy hugged him; his hands slithered to his back, gripping takashi's brown hair. takashi became straight as a flat cardboard box.

what i'm i supposed to do? should i hug him back? if i do, he might get scared again!

many thoughts swarmed in his head, like a a nest of wasps attacking a victim for bothering them.

his thoughts were then cut off as he felt weight take him down. he stumbled a bit, rapping his arms around the other boy.

the boy looked up at him. "cart please."

takashi blinked his eyes. he took a look at the bandaged boy. his arms and legs rapped around takashi. he looked like a little koala clinging to its mother.

he replied, "o-okay."

takashi wobbled his legs towards the cart, the bandaged boy getting heavier and heavier by every passing second. he finally made it to the cart and put the boy in the. "you know, for you being so small. . you're pretty heavy."

the boy looked down to his knees. "i'm sorry."

"what are you sorry for?" takashi asked as a frown is placed on his lips.

the small boy replied, "for being heavy. didn't mean to be heavy for you."

takashi covered his mouth, a small laugh escaped his lips. "that's not a reason to be sorry for." he then, puts his hands on his hips. "now lets go get the rest of the things on our lists!" takashi starts to push the cart forward, down the tall shelves that had what any grocery store would have: food.
