"I'm hungry." Farah complained, her eyes almost squinted shut to block out the bright sunlight.

"You're always hungry, Red." Teldryn chuckled as they ventured on.

They've been on the road for about two hours now on their way to cleanse the Sun Stone. The Dunmer honestly feared that morning that the little moment they had the previous night would be the start of an awkward silence between them. Though he was very much relieved when she woke up with the messiest hair he had ever seen and a groggy smile on her face. Farah went about her routine as always, immediately digging into breakfast and getting dressed as if nothing happened at all. He had to admit, the chitin armor did its work keeping her safe against blades and arrows, but it neglected her curves and womanly figure. The only times he was blessed to see that figure were during the evening before going to bed. That's when she wore that sleeveless vest and leather pants that complimented her curves perfectly. Just the thought of her figure alone caused his cheeks to heat up and he really wished he could just remove the damn helmet already.

"You think there will be more of that Daedric creatures after the stone is cleansed?" He asked, keeping an eye out for danger as usual.

"Probably." She muttered, "Miraak just loves his lurkers and will probably send one to deal with the disturbance at his stone."

"Do you really think he can be defeated, Red? He lives in a Daedric Prince's realm, for Azura's sake! Doesn't that grant him some sort of immortality?"

Farah shook her head, "No one is immortal, Teldryn. Even Daedra can be killed. We simply have to have faith that there's a way to stop him."

Teldryn frowned at the next thought that popped into his head, not liking it one bit, "You won't go through that book again, will you? There has to be another way to fight Miraak without you going near that unholy thing."

She didn't have an answer for that, "I don't know. But if it's the only way, then I'm doing it."

From past experiences he knew that Nords were stubborn, so he saved his breath by closing his mouth and not trying to talk her out of it. Maybe there was another way to lure Miraak to their world, they just had to find it yet. As they neared the Sun Stone, they passed Tel Mithryn, the tower where a famous Telvanni wizard lived. Farah stopped dead in her tracks when seeing the giant mushroom houses, her jaw nearly hitting the ground. It was an amusing sight and Teldryn caught himself smiling at her awe underneath the helmet.

"Do people actually live in there?" She breathed.

"Yes."

"How do mushrooms even grow so big?"

"Magic."

"Do you think we may have a look inside?"

"No." He had to hook his arm through hers to drag her away from the mushroom houses, "We'll come back so you can look at them after our quest. Maybe then I'll try and see if the wizard that lives there will let you explore his mushroom."

Farah's cheeks heated up by his little joke, "You weren't kidding when you said your friendship comes in inappropriate sexual humor."

"Excuse me, I was actually being serious." He faked being annoyed, "And I honestly think that the wizard wouldn't mind you of all people exploring his mushroom."

"Just tell me first, which mushroom are you referring to exactly?" Farah asked with furrowed brows, trying her very best not to blush at his ambiguous reference.

He grinned at her and winked, only to remember she couldn't actually see him doing it. He rolled his eyes and chuckled, "Never mind. We're here anyways."
