Chapter 4 - Too much of a Coincidence?

"You! What are you doing here?!" Zara asked baffled that he had now intruded in her secure peaceful place.

"Well, I should be the one asking you that! What are you doing in my park? And why are you even out of the house?"

So now the park is his!😤

"Your park?! How come this be your park? I've always been coming here for the past few years! In fact I used to come even when I was small! And I came out of the house because I wanted to! Don't think you can go around commanding me!" Zara replied very annoyed at him.

"Isn't that too much of a coincidence? I always come here too. How come I've never seen your devilish presence earlier!"

"I wonder the same mean jerk!"

Aahil glared at her in return and hopped on to one of the swings, totally ignoring her.

Zara was annoyed and was starting to leave when suddenly she stopped and went towards Aahil. She sat on the swing next to him. And went to and fro in the air just like him.

His eyes were closed as he enjoyed the breeze with each swing. He seemed at peace.

Zara looked at him. His silky brown hair shone in the sunlight and his lips stretched into a tiny little smile. He looked, almost-angelic! But wait what! He's the mean jerk! Zara just shook her head in frustration.

"So now you won't even let me have a moment of peace? I know I'm handsome but you don't have to sit by me and stare all day!"😉

"I'm not staring at you! And yeah you spoiled my moment of peace so, payback! "😌

"I did not! It's always you and your father that have spoiled everything!" He suddenly answered in a serious tone.

Zara was shocked by his reply but before she could ask him exactly what he meant, he went off towards the bars.

He was going up and down and over them. Zara followed too and proceeded to do the same right next to him.

"What do you mean Aahil? I never did anything to you! In fact I did not even know you, at all! As for my father, I think you both had a deal or something!"

Aahil did not reply to her instead he just kept doing more pushups on the bar.

"Come on Aahil, tell me isn't that why you have married me, for the deal and- "

"Aaaaah!"

The shriek made Aahil instantly jump down and he fell down along with her trying to get a hold of her. Zara's hands had accidentally slipped and she had fallen down. But she wasn't that hurt because Aahil had got her.

She turned towards him who lay on the ground right next to her. His eyes were a roaring ocean on the brink yet calm and peaceful deep inside.

"Mr. Aahil Ibrahim", Zara started while deliberately clearing her throat, "I did not expect you to fall for me so fast! But what can we say, I'm amazing!"😄

Aahil looked back at the cute warm honeybrown eyes which had a few strands of her hair dancing around.
He gently pushed them aside and in the softest yet poison filled tone he said,

"I would never fall for the daughter of Mansur Usman."
