Skullara's POV

Nights after nights the attacks continued and so did my injuries. I hid them with bandages and some of my cosplay makeup to keep everyone from knowing. I've always hated hiding things from my friends but I had to make sure that they never found out, for their own safety. The next morning, we all went to the kitchen to have breakfast and chat before our class did any more activities together. I tried not to bring up the attacks that happened but I knew someone would bring it up.
After talking for a few minutes, the topic was finally brought up, "Did you guys here about the attacks that have been happening this week?" Noah brought up, "Oh yeah, I saw it on the news. I hope those people are okay or, at least, alive..." We all grew silent. Finally, Matt cleared his throat, "So... what do you think we're doing today?" We all changed our moods and tried to forget about everything that happened the past few nights except.... for me. I went to our room and just laid in bed, hopeless, wishing to find out what was inside of me.
So I went to the only person I knew who could tell me, my great grandmother, Haggard. I told her about the past nights and that I needed help finding out what it was, but before I could send the letter out by owl, with a blink of an eye she appeared right in front of me. I stood up and walked to her, "Hello Haggard." She smiled, "Alright. You ready?" I was a little confused and nervous about this but I nodded my head anyway. We sat on the balcony floor and put our hands together, "Now, close your eyes." She said. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath, she continued, "What do you see?"
     I furrowed my eyebrows at her, "I just see darkness." She sighed and let go of my left hand, "Look deeper within yourself," She placed her hand on my chest, "find what is happening in you." I took another deep breath and heavily sighed 3 times until... I found something. A woman in chains horribly injured, blood everywhere. I ran to her in a panic, "Oh my Hybrid! Who did this to you!?"
She looked at me, blood on her lips and cuts on her face, "Turn around." I slowly turned my head to the sound of an angry mob, "Get away from our village!" Screamed an old man, "You're not welcomed here!" She screamed, a mother with her child. Everywhere I heard the mob screaming monster... I looked at them with anger, "All of you shut up!" I scream. Silence. "She has done nothing wrong! All she did was help you from your fate which was death!"
The man who spoke first took a step forward, "She is a monster with inhuman powers! She is no savior of ours!" The woman looked up at me, "Why are you defending me? You could've left me alone in my agony." I smile to her, "No one deserves this... not even the worst human on earth." She looked to the ground, she seemed to be crying, "Mister... you are worthy of being my reincarnation." I turned to her, "It's 'miss' but, what do you mean, 'reincarnation'?" She stares at me and suddenly, I'm the one in chains and blood everywhere. She stares down at me, "You will help the people who need it most and help save me." I open my eyes quickly and pant, "What is it!? What did you see!?" Haggard asked. I look at her, "Grandmother......
