The shaman begins to read my mind and her eyes open suddenly, her eyes opened widely, her pupil turning to emerald green and blood begins to rise from her esophagus. I scream with fear and catch the shaman before she fell on the floor. 'Great.' I thought. The shaman that I believed could help me was unconscious, I laid her upon her bed and waited until she regained her consciousness.
Hours later, the shaman shot up and stared deeply in the darkness as if something pretrifying happened. She stared at me and gasped for air.. her lips trembling and she looked up to me with those scared, dark eyes.
"Run child run.. Your life is in danger if you reveal your identity. I see you have not come to know who you truly are. I feel this strong curious aura within you... And I see a strong bright light roaring about you.. I see a new future Queen. Child, you are one of them."
Obviously startled by this remark this shaman have made, I quickly asked her what did she mean when she said, "you are one of them". The shaman who I put my whole trust in, hesitated and slowly told me the truth. The dark truth that cannot be revealed to anyone else, not even my closest friends, for I will be in danger.
I was one of them.. I was a Valen.
