I was not sure what to think now, not sure how to react at his words *Should I tell him? I’m not nuts that I will be doing anything stupid enough to reveal my old identity. I even changed my hairstyle so that no one would recognise me.* “Nah not actually, I was a loner.” His eyebrows rose, “Really? Well but here you won’t be, cause I won’t be leaving you alone.” He smiled, I returned his smile.

“Hey Ryan!” A voice came from somewhere, I couldn’t figure out. Ryan looked behind, “Yo!” I followed his gaze. Behind him I recognised the girl and those two boys from before. I didn’t look at their faces nicely that time. One of the boys had maroon hair, it was nicely cropped, he had tanned skin like a footballer, he had small black eyes, a cute face and he was nearby my height, neither skinny nor fat. The other guy had pale skin and his figure was the same as his friend, his bluish hairs were long and were down in a neat ponytail. He had big pale green eyes. Ryan walked towards them turned his head towards me, “C’mon lemme intro you guys.”

I took a deep breath; I wanted my first impression good on all of them. I smiled and walked to them “Hi guys!” “Hey Xian! I’m Zoalina Swan but call me Zoe. The pink haired guy is Saveres Rad and the pony-tailed one is Robert Cliff.” She gave me a wink, “Nice to meet ya.” My smile widened, “Same here. Will you guys show me around at recess? This school seems to be big.” Robert opened his mouth to say something but Saveres spoke before he could, “It’s not that big. Most of the space is used as sports fields.” Saveres’s voice was the cherry-guy type, “Sports fields? What games do you guys have here?” Zoe answered, “Badminton, swimming, soccer, kick boxing, kendo, judo, lawn tennis and we got a gym for all sorts of indoor ones like you know chess and all.” *Kick-boxing, kendo and judo! All in the same school! Oww... how I’d love to go for all of them! Hey! Wait... no I can’t fly around and reveal my identity, I’m supposed to start fresh.* “I think I will go for kick-boxing.” *A~~~nd it has slipped from my freaking lips* All the eyes suddenly widened and were not looking but staring at me now, oww how I wanted to stick my head in the ground like an ostrich right now! “Zoe, looks like your wait is finally over.” Huh? It was Robert who had spoken this time, his voice is the calm and soothing type, pretty matured for a 9th grader, “Umm... Sorry I didn’t get you” Before I knew what happened Zoe hugged me, “Whoa!” I had to fight for balance, “It’s been ages I met a girl like you!” “Huh?” “Lemme explain,” Saveres volunteered to get me out of confusion, “Zoe has always been complaining that all the girls in this school are doll-like, she is the only girl who plays kendo here.” “Life is full of surprises, eh?” Ryan was grinning at me. “I’m not playing kendo!” “Still, it’s awesome that finally there would be another girl in the fighting world with me.” Zoe seemed so happy, guess there is no backing down now; I broke the embrace, “Okay calm down and hey Savers are you a soccer player?” His eyebrows shot up, pretty surprised at my question, “Yep I am but how did ya know?” “You got the looks of a pure footballer.” I giggled, “Why thank you Xian, I’m taking that as a compliment.” I heard someone laugh, it was Ryan *His laugh is charming as well. Huh? Hello am I losing it?* “Well, well. Isn’t life full of surprises! Well I’m just a tennis player so don’t go hard on me girls.” “And I’m not even a sportsman so spare me as well,” this time it was Robert “He’s a pianist.” Zoe told me. “Wow Robert! That’s pretty skilful!” “Please, call me Robbie, or Rob, whichever you find comforting.” *Robert is quite a gentleman!
