Vincent was talking to Freya on the phone. "Your brother's got a very interesting approach to motivational speaking."

Freya was in Mystic Falls, she walked into the Salvatore Boarding School with a brown paper bag. "Look, I know there's no love between you two, but as insane as he seems, Klaus' tactics always work. Just ride out his bad mood as best as you can and remember."

"Yeah, if he keeps messing with me, I'm gonna show him a bad mood," Vincent said.

"Listen I just spoke to Faith's mom whose the headmistress, and she says Faith's magic has been getting more out of control."

"Tell me, did you make contact?"

"Make contact?" Freya repeated.

"Are you talking about my nieces or secret agents?"

"Freya, I know that this is hard for you to hear," Vincent told her. "But Ivy's cards predicted that Faith might in fact be the devil in disguise, so you cannot be soft on her."

Freya walked upstairs. "She's 16. Her future isn't written in stone. That's why I'm here. To make sure of it."

Vincent sighed. "Good luck."

"You too," Freya said, hanging up.

Freya knocked on Faith and Hope's bedroom door, Hope opened it and instantly took off her headphones when she saw her aunt.

"What happened?" Hope asked, worriedly.

"Uh, oh, no, nothing," Freya answered.

"Your, uh, your father has search parties scouring every inch of the city. We'll find her."

Hope sighed. "It's just--when I saw you I thought that she--yeah. So, wait, if she's still missing, then why are you here?"

Freya held up the brown paper bag. "Care package. Thought you and Faith could use a taste of home."

Hope took the bag. "So you drove all this way to give me beignets?"

"I figured with everything going on you could use a friend," Freya said.

"Thanks, but I have Faith," Hope replied.

Freya nodded. "Mm-hm. You know, I could be wrong, but, um, I think this is the part where you invite me in."

"Yeah, yeah," Hope said, putting the bag on her dresser and letting Freya into her room.

"Yeah."

Freya closed the door behind her while Faith noticed Freya was there and started to gather her things off the floor. the two had obviously been practicing magic.

"Locator spells in 12 ancient languages?" Freya asked.

"I thought you weren't allowed to do magic outside the classroom."

"Catch-up reading, plus the headmistress is my mom and the headmaster is my godfather so..." Faith answered, making an excuse.

"I'm trying to make up for being suspended." Hope said.

Freya hummed.

"Keep my grades up. I got to get back to work, Aunt Freya."

"Sure, sure. I mean, I could just leave," Freya replied, sitting on Faith's bed. "After an excruciating 11-hour drive to see my only nieces or we could get comfy, stuff our faces with deep-fried glory and you Faith, could tell me about that cute boy you had hidden in your room last week while me and Hope listen." Faith looked at Freya.
