The Stanislav Brothers chapter 10
3 months later
Darkness is all I see. I feel nothing but pain when the medication wears off. I try to open my eyes but I fail every time. I can hear when someone enters and leave the room. Their mother and sister comes to visit me daily. She tells me stories about how it was growing up with her brothers. The way they treated her you wouldn't think that they weren't psycho hybrids. They treated her like a princess except when she wanted to date. She said that they scared everyone around here even escorted her to her prom. She also told me that she never had her party that night. Once they found out that I was gone they went crazy. They lost two guards because of me and I feel so awful for their families. She said that she probably would have done the same thing.
I hear them when they come into the room and try to talk to her. She just ignores them and keeps talking to me like they aren't there. That pisses them off which starts a chain of curse words and threats, I become afraid and the heart monitor goes crazy which makes their mom come in and put them out. Hours later they come back into the room and just sit quietly. The sick part about it is they never apologized. They killed my baby and act like it's my fault.
They blame me because if I wouldn't have ran Colton wouldn't have gotten pissed off and threw me through the window. Yeah like this is my fault. Why the heck would I want to stay here with three crazy supernatural creatures. This happens almost every day, it's like a routine that they never get tired of. I guess I shouldn't complain. This is better than being awake and having them hurting me. I heard them leave out and I was left alone once again. A few minutes later Anna came in.
"How's my patient doing today?" Anna asked.
"Your vitals are great. I just need you to open your eyes." Trust me I'm trying I thought to myself. I felt her pick up my hand.
"Come on Bree squeeze my hand I know you can hear me, I know you can do it." I squeezed her hand as hard as I could.
"Good job. You're improving. I'm going to try something new. I swore I would never do this but it's for a good reason. This may burn but I think it'll help heal you faster." After doing something with the equipment she sighed.
"Here goes nothing." A few minutes later my body felt like it was on fire, if I could scream I would. The heart monitor started to beep like crazy. That's when she squeezed my hand again.
"I know it hurts and I'm sorry just breathe." I did what she said and few painful minutes later the pain stopped.
"Come on Bree open your eyes."
Here goes nothing. I tried to open my eyes and nothing happened but I wasn't going to give up. I tried again and I actually did it. Everything was blurry and bright. I closed my eyes again, the lights were hurting my eyes. It was like someone sat the sun in front me.
"Thank God it worked. Do you need anything?" I shook my head no.
"I'm going to run a few tests. I'll be back to check on you later." She smiled and walked out.
A week later
I stared at the wall not saying anything. I couldn't even cry, I think I had a mental breakdown.
"Bree, sweetie you need to eat." I didn't say anything. I just continued to stare at the wall.
"Were you serious?"
"Excuse me?"
"Were you serious when you said that you would help me disappear?" She sighed and stood by the bed.
"Yes I was. They're my sons and I love them but they're crazy. No one should be treated the way they treat you. I thought they were changing. When you left they went crazy. For the first time in years they actually showed an emotion, they was scared that you'd been kidnapped by one of their enemies."
