As Izumi wandered around aimlessly she thought about the day she got a quirk and the day Izuku found out he was quirkless.

"Mama," A little Izumi coughed out.

Finding it hard to breathe Izumi collapsed to the floor. Her small hands clawed at her throat as she struggled to breath.

Little feet could be heard as Izuku ran to find their mother.

"Izumi baby what's wrong," a young petite Inko asked the small child.

Being unable to answer she looked to Izuku for help.

"Mama Izumi said her throat felt cold before falling down," Little Izuku replied for Izumi.

Inko just nodded as she picked up Izumi and Izuku and rushed out the door. 30 minutes later the Midoriya family was at the hospital with an Ice cold Izumi, which should have been the opposite due to it being the middle of the summer.

Inko desperately ran up to the front desk and said: "Please I need help. My daughter's quirk develop but it is suffocating her. Please, someone, help,"

The nurse at the table got up and motioned for Inko to follow her. The pink haired nurse leads the Midoriya family to the quirk section of the hospital and ushered them into an empty room. After the nurse left to find a doctor Izumi's temperature plummeted to unnatural levels. Luckily for the Midoriya family, the doctor walked into the room. When he noticed Izumi's shivering body and blue lips he dropped his clipboard, grabbed Izumi from Inko and rushed her out of the room without a word.

An hour had passed before Inko and Izuku could see Izumi. When they entered the white room Izumi was resting at, the doctor who had taken Izumi walked up to them with his now chipped clipboard. He had messy brown-grey hair, thick glass perched on top his big nose and a very round face.

"How is my baby girl?" Inko asked worriedly.

The doctor cleared his throat and straightened his glassed be for responding lazily: "Her body temperature has stabilized so she should be fine."

Relief flooded Inko's face when she heard Izumi would be alright. Little Izuku, who was clinging to his mother's leg, was looking between his mother and the doctor with his face scrunched up in confusion.

"But mama, why did Mi-Chan get cold?" Izuku quietly asked.

Inko looked at the doctor expectantly after Izuku's question.

"Well you see, her quirk is ice breath. So when her quirk activated, the saliva in her throat instantly froze, which blocked off the airflow and caused extreme discomfort. Her quirk is also stronger than most breath quirks so it was colder than expected with no heat quirk to balance it out. Which lead to it freezing up the muscles in her throat, including the vocal cords. Lucky her body was able to adapt fast enough to the sudden change, but her throat will be sore for a while, and she will experience some pain while talking for the next week." The doctor informed the two conscious Midoirya's.

Inko gave the doctor a quick bow while thanking him and then asked: "Are we able to go to Izumi?"

"Yes of course but you will have to talk to a nurse about scheduling a checkup for this little guy too. Just in case he has a similar quirk to his sister."

Inko nodded to the doctor as he left before turning to Izumi and walking towards her, with Izuku close behind. Brushing the hair from Izumi's face Inko lovingly hummed to her as she held Izuku in her lap. Soon Little Izuku head was bobbing up and down as he slowly fell asleep.
