Chapter 1

I thought moving to the beach would be hell.

I had to say goodbye to my friends, my school, my old house and worst of all my dad.

My dad and I were so close it was heart breaking to see him pass and I never thought my heart could be stitched back together again, so I thought.

I walked along the beach with my feet sinking into the warm sand.

I hated my life, every inch of it. I wanted to curl into a ball and just forget about the world and all the hurt I had from my dad.

I walked into the water and felt it rush around my feet, I decided to let all the pain out and and swim, as far as I could.

I never wanted to go back.

As the waves got bigger I started to think maybe this wasn't a good idea. I felt like the waves were suffocating me, I started to go under.

I felt myself sink and the water rushed in my mouth.

I kept falling when I felt someone grab my hand and pulled me upwards.

I felt by weak body people put onto a surf board and I was so weak I wasn't even sure what was happening.

When I opened my eyes I was back on the beach, and looking down at me was a blonde boy with long hair and hazel eyes.

He smiled at me and ran his fingers through my hair.

"your awake..oh my god, what were you doing out there? I was just surfing and I saw you start to go down and I don't even.." he mumbled but I cut him off, "thank you, thank you so much" I said.

"really it's nothing, I'm Christian, Christian Anthony" he said with a smile

"I'm Mia" I said as he helped me sit up "well, Mia I'm very pleased to meet you" he said and he gave me a kiss on the cheek.
