The Pool

When I opened my eyes, I was suddenly surrounded by cats. Lots of them. "Hey! Get out of here!" I shouted at them. One the cat with beige fur spoke back. " Ohmygosh Trinity, you're a cat!" it said in Savannah's voice. "What? You are, I'm not..." My voice trailed off as I looked down.

I really was a cat.

I had gray fur with black stripes, and my reflection in the pool showed I had bright green eyes.

For some reason, the other cats followed my moves and looked down too. Then they started shrieking, all in my classmates voices. I leaped up onto the rock wall (which happened to be three feet above my head), and shouted, "hey! What are your names?" A cat said in Starr's voice, "haven't you realized? We're all Cats!"

Then I realized. I was still with my classmates.

But we were cats.

" we're all who we were before," I yelled, "but we're cats. You're Ashley," I said to a light grey cat half-hidden by ferns, "and you're Veronica, " I mentioned to a orange-and-white cat on my left.

"Right," Savannah said, thinking that because I was looking like because I was in control, she would have some command," we need to get back to being humans. We all drank from the pool to get this way, so we will need to drink from it again to go back." She padded over to the side of the pool and took a drink, but nothing happened.

Savannah turned around to face us, her beige fur and sharp claws glinting in the soft sunlight.

But now, I knew where we were.

"Hey!" I yelled, but no one looked up at me. "HEY!" I shouted. Everyone turned around to face me, rightly assuming I was leader, "I know where we are. We are in my favorite book series, the Warriors." Most of my classmates have read warriors, but like Savannah, never got into them.

" yeah, right." mewed Rosalie. " Where are we really?

"No, we are in the Warriors world. This is the Moonpool, and the orange cat I saw on the road coming here must have been Firestar!" I loudly realized. In my head, I was freaking out, but I had to remain in control if we were to join the clans.

"Let's split up, and try to join the clans. Foxes, you can go to Shadowclan, where they are sly and smart. Beauty queens, go to Riverclan, where they swim and have an abundance of prey. Athletes, go to Windclan who lives on the moors and runs all day. Fighters, come with me to Thunderclan, the brave and loyal." I reasoned. After I showed them which way to go, I said "just make up a name that goes with Something you would find in the wild. My new name will be Finch, and Rosalie, you can be Rose." When we all had our "nature names," as Molly (mouse) called them, I saw every group off, but Savannah hung back. "see you at the gathering." She said grumpily, as if she was mad at me for splitting us up.

"Let's go by our warrior names from now on, okay?" I asked my group. "We don't know if any Warrior is listening in.

"'Kay, " Smokki said, looking impatient. I didn't really like her, but she was in my group.

So Me, Smoke, Fern, and Ash treaded down the path with pawprints. After walking for roughly an hour,

I heard a voice from the forest next to us.

"Hey! What do you think your doing, trespasser?"

***soooooo... I don't really have anything to say for this chapter. So far, I've been updating once a week-ish, is that okay? I have no clue how to get your fics popular, but I'll write until the story ends/gets dry. I also think I'm going to start writing in third person, like the books. Remember to Comment... And... stuff. I would just be happy for one view, but whatevs. *tries to look cool*
