Heaven must be missing an angel, bless
I know because thy are here with me now,
Thy kisses filled with love and tenderness.
I want all I get can get, all thy can show.
Of thy voluptuousness. Loving shower,
Me with thy love. There's rainbows in my life.
Thy love like clockwork comes hour by hour,
You must have slipped away and caused much strife.
Back home in heaven from whence thou came.
A halo placed above thy head I see,
Without thee heaven will not be the same.
Thy came astride on moonbeams straight to me.
- Heaven's missing the angel Rosalind.
Thy are the missing angel Rosalind.

As You Like It poems
PoetryI am performing the Shakespeare play 'As You Like It'. In this play Orlando writes many (bad) poems which he hangs on trees. We thought it would be fun to give the audience some of these poems so I have been hard at work setting pen to paper.
