Over a beauty I saw in a dress.
Her name and her smile,
Are with me all while,
It's not working out I confess.

As You Like It poems
PoetryI am performing the Shakespeare play 'As You Like It'. In this play Orlando writes many (bad) poems which he hangs on trees. We thought it would be fun to give the audience some of these poems so I have been hard at work setting pen to paper.
Limerick 8
I am trying not to obsess,
Over a beauty I saw in a dress.
Her name and her smile,
Are with me all while,
It's not working out I confess.
