" What do you say we close that door," John starts, moving to sit on the railing. " We can't have any kind of party with Vernon checking us out every few seconds."

" Party?" Angel's eyes widen, her voice coming out quiet. She always loved parties. She loved the balloons, the piñatas, and the cake. Oh, how she loved sweets. And all she wanted right now was a giant, seven layer chocolate cake-"...it wouldn't make any difference. You may as well not even exist at this school." Angel is shaken from her thoughts, finding the three arguing once more. Looking over at John, she notices a frown on his face. It makes her smile fall as well.

" Well," John starts, clearing his throat, " I'll just run right out and join the wrestling team." That sentence makes Andrew and Claire laugh dryly.

" I wanna join the cheerleading," Allison admits. Allison turns her head, raising a brow at the girl. " I like dancing," she shrugs, biting the inside of her cheek.

" Oh, God! You ritchies are so smart, that's exactly why I'm not heavy in activities!" John goes on.

" You're a big coward," Claire calls out.

" Didn't you hide behind the football team when Marina Martinez from the soccer team tried to fight you?" Everyone turns to the voice, finding Angel at the end of it. Allison has to force the smile off her face, seeing her friend grow red from the attention.

" And aren't you a teacher's pet, four eyes?" Andrew snaps. Angel furrows her brows, wondering why the she picked these glasses when she needed a new prescription. Maybe she should have gotten contacts? Despite the thoughts running through her mind, she keeps her composure like she was taught.

" I admit that, yes. But I admitted it, unlike others who should admit somethings as well." She just called out Claire Standish. The. Claire. Freaking. Standish. If she did that during school hours she would have milk in her hair before lunch ended.

Looking up, she finds Claire's eyes still on her, a look of disgust across her face. Angel slowly avert a her eyes once more, embarrassment weighing heavy on her chest.
