A heavy, loud, dramatic breath passes Angel's lips, a bored yet annoyed look on her face. She bites her lip, trying to steady her breathing.
She wishes she hadn't done that. It was rude and disrespectful. And she cursed as well, making it even worse. "What even came over me?" she groans quietly, pushing her glasses off her face. They hit her forehead before falling to the ground with a quiet thud. "Think on the bright side..." she trails off, straightening her legs so she can see her shoes. "My shoes are cute." She giggles quietly, placing a hand on her mouth to quiet herself.
"So you are wearing shorts." Angel looks away from her converse, finding Claire looking a bit unusual.
"You're upside down," Angel points out, aiming he finger at the redhead. Claire bites back a laugh, trapping her bottom between her teeth for a moment.
"No, Angel." She has to stop herself as a giggle passes her lips. "You're on the chair upside down."
Angel opens and closes her mouth, for some reason completing forgetting that she placed herself in the chair like that. "Right," she let's out, moving to sit in the chair properly. "I knew that." Her cheeks have roses blossoming on them in an instant.
"So what was that about?" the redhead wonders, sitting on the coffee table in front of Angel. Her head tilts the slightest to the right. "Your friend looked surprised to you saying curse words." Angel smiles softly, forcing her sight from her converse to Claire for a few moments.
"Her name's Allison." Her eyes move back to her shoes. "And I don't know what happened. I just hope I don't do it again. It was mean." Her smile disappears, the corner of her lips twitching downwards.
Claire let's a few moments pass, trying to find a few words. "Some days you need to be mean."
"Why?"
"Because it forces people to wake up." That makes the girl look up. "Some may not be able to get overcome things unless someone tells them bluntly. And this was one of those cases." Angel nods slowly, a tight-lipped smile on her face. "You still didn't do anything. You're still an angel." Claire's eyes widen slowly, not knowing where that came from at all. Nonetheless, Angel's reaction makes her grin. "I'll let you think about that for a bit."
Claire gets up slowly, something in her kicking in. Her fingers carefully caress Angel's jaw before she grasps her chin, forcing the girl to look up at Claire. Slowly, almost seductively, Claire leans down and gives Angel light, airy kiss on the cheek. A heavy, shaky breath passes both their lips, anxiety beginning to course through them. Claire walks away quickly, her heels clicking as Angel tries to figure out what happened.
