Lena was starting to get really worried. It had been 15 minutes since Supergirl last responded. Winn was trying to track her down, J'onn was in the sky, scanning the city but it felt like luck wasn't on their side. Alex had sent agents to her last location, to see if they could figure out where she went. They came back 20 minutes later, not bringing good news:

"Director Danvers, we found blood in the building."

Alex took the blood sample and asked Winn to see if they got a match in their database. She was the first to react when Kara's face got on the screen, indicating the blood was hers:

"Dammit! Go back there, find me something that can tell us what happen to her."

Lena had a blank expression on her face. Laura walked in the room with Barry and her daughter and seeing the look on her mother's face, she worriedly asked:

"What's going on?"

"It's Kara, we believe she has been kidnapped", answered J'onn when no one else spoke.

When she woke up, Kara's first thought was for Lena. She wanted to get up and check her phone to see if maybe she texted her after her monologue last night. But when she tried to move, she realized she couldn't. She opened her eyes and found herself tied up on a table. She tried to get her head up but was strike by a dreadful pain in all her body.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you."

"Who are you? What do you want?" asked Kara without seeing who she was talking to.

"Don't worry. It's not you I want. I mean, it's not you I want to hurt. But you are the fastest way to get to Lena Luthor, so."

"Stay away from her."

"Are you going to make me? Because from what I see, you're tied up in my basement."

"What do you want from her?"

"Lena Luthor ruined my life. It's only fair I ruin hers."

When Eliza arrived at the DEO, Sam had already joined the team effort. Alex saw her mother and approached her:

"Mom, you didn't have to come."

"It's been almost 3 hours since she disappeared, the least I could do is try to help."

Alex went back to the round table and introduced her mother to the rest of the team. Seeing J'onn coming back, she asked:

"Did you find anything?"

"I'm sorry Alex. I tried everything I could."

"This can't be happening, I mean, making Kara bleed that would mean having kryptonite, which is impossible. There is no more kryptonite here", said Lena.

"You know how to make some", said Alex.

"Seriously? You think I distributed kryptonite or something?"

"Lena, calm down, I'm just saying that maybe someone stole the formula."

"That's impossible, I gave it to Kara last year, and I used every last of it on Reign."

"Mr Schott, try to track down the kryptonite. We are going to look at the security cameras from L-Corp since the day you discovered the formula. It has to come from there", said J'onn.

"Nora and I are going to take a look trough the city. You never know", said Barry, putting his mask on.

"Let's do this. Let's find Supergirl", said Alex.

Lena's phone dinged, indicating she had received a message. Praying it was Kara, she opened it. Seeing her face became very pale, Alex came next to her:

"Lena, are you okay?"

Lena looked up from her phone and showed it to Alex. It was a simple text: "I want 437 855 dollars in 2 hours or she dies" with a picture of Supergirl, attached with kryptonite cuffs. Alex showed it to Winn so he could put it up on the screens and said:

"I wanna know who sent this text and I wanna know it now!"

Winn quickly responded:

"It's from a burner phone, no way to track it."

"All right, keep tracking the kryptonite signature and find me why that amount of money is so specific. It has to be personal, they are going through too much trouble just for money. They could've kidnapped anyone in this town and they took Supergirl. Lena, I need you to think about this, does 437 855 dollars rings any bell?"

"I- I don't think so."

"Try to figure this out. We don't have much time."

Laura was watching the scene from afar and felt her life falling apart, even more than it already had.

Half an hour later, the kidnapper had sent another text with a location to drop off the money.

"We can't go there", said Lena.

"Of course we can and we are. I don't care how much it costs, we are getting Kara back", responded Eliza.

"You don't understand, this is a trap, money is not the real goal here."

"Yes, you said that already. We are going, end of discussion."

"Please, this will only get Kara hurt."

"No. Not giving them what they want is going to get Kara hurt. I'm not going to let her die!"

"You think I'm going to let this happen?! I love her!"

"Then we are going to save her!"

"This is not the way", said Lena before admitting, "I know who's behind this. He doesn't want money."

Everyone stopped what they were doing and looked at Lena.

"He wants me."

"You know this man?" calmly asked Eliza, steeping closer to Lena.

"Yes."

"Are you the reason my daughter has been kidnapped?"

Lena paused before answering:

"Yes. His name is Thomas Ferrier. I sold a company for 437 855 dollars about a year ago. His father and him worked there and they both lost their jobs. His father died of a heart attack a month after. He has been blaming me for this ever since."

Eliza looked at Lena with angry eyes before turning around and walking away. Lena looked at Alex and started to open her mouth before Alex cut her off:

"Save it for later. Tell me everything you know about this guy. Winn, find me his address."
