Chapter 8: The City

                 Zoey's P.O.V

  I watch as Ender runs and hugs the young woman with the diamond sword. The young woman just sits there as Ender whispers something, "A new friend".

  As Ender lets go she raises her sword and silently stands like that. The young woman wanted everyone to stat their name and age.

                    ??'s P.O.V

  I think they assume i'm from the city, maybe like a guard or something. I'm actually a survivor who happen to get really lucky and find a diamond sword.

  I was a maid at one of the fancy hotel around here and was cleaning a room when the outbreak occurred. I had to take what I could and found this beauty lying under one of the beds.

  I had ran to the elevator, got to the first floor and here I am. I wanted to get to know the strangers a little bit more, but then breaking my train of thought was a girl that looked like she was 14. She had ran up to me with a huge smile on her face and straight up hugged me!

  My head was still looking down as I felt the impact of the girl. She had whispered something before letting go, "A new friend...".

  I said they had to stat their age and name as the little girl went back to what I assumed to be her mother. The woman looked too young to have a 14 year old. The girl stated her name and age first, she had long briwn hair that was slightly curly and a huge grin plastered on her face.

  "My name is Ender and am 12" she says, I stay silent, she looked like she was 14... I still assumed the woman she was standing by was not her mother.

  Next was a guy with blond hair, "Jeff and am 24" A/N (pretty sure thats not his real age...) he says. Next the woman who I assumed is pregant, judging by the bump on her stomach. "My name is Zoey and am 23" she says causally.

Next is another woman but she has pink hair, "Natalie, age 26" she says waving at me. Last but not least is a guy in a white tank top and ripped jeans. "Uhhh Whitey and butterflies" he says spinning around. Am not even going to ask...

         *~~Time skip to the city~~*

  We arrive to the city right before sunset and we all hurry in. I decide to be the leader, considering I have the most knowledge of this city. Before we can even get to the apartment I was holding out in I saw him, he had betraded me.....

I was going through a tough time and I wasn't really thinking the most happy thoughts...You guys still showed you had cared and I greatly appreciate it....
