"Pinkie, Rainbow?" Twilight called across the village, heart thumping as the last of the guard dropped to the ground. Guard ponies from the other side had began to cage civillians and Pinkie and Rainbow were still residing in their basement.

Twilight bashed her hoof against the door and was greeted by a blue pony with a pink mane.
"Mrs Cake! Have you seen Pinkie and Rainbow?"
The blue-furred pony nods, "They are in the basement, Princess. Come on in."

Twilight bows her head in gratitude and gallops in, hoofsteps echoing down the stairs that lead to where the two ponies were.
"Twilight?" Pinkie asks, a little shocked.
"What are you doing here?"

Twilight looks behind Pinkie to see Dash examining a glass bottle of something she couldn't make out.
"Pinkie, we have to leave. Ponyville has lost their defences."

Pinkie is silent.
Her eyes widened at the sudden news as her muzzle peaked slightly open.
She couldn't believe it.
Dash looked over, flying to where the two ponies stood.
"Hey guys, what's up?"

The pink-furred and maned pony looks up, mane sagging slightly.
Her eyes dullened and brows furrowed into a knot. She swallowed an amount of saliva that was slowly forming in her mouth.
"Twilight, go and get the others."

She nodded, "Are you coming with us?"
Pinkie shook her head, "No. Come back here. Me and Rainbow have a plan."
Twilight nods again, glancing the Pie with a confused look.

Rainbow was the one that convinced her to take their other friends. She did not really think about it before, but Pinkie was not cruel.
"So, it's time?" Rainbow quivers, landing on the ground with a quiet clop.
Pinkie nods, "I-" she sniffles, shaking in motion with Rainbow. She lead Rainbow into the basement further, snuggling her muzzle into the cyan pony's neck, taking in the scent of her partner.

"-I'm afraid so,"

Rainbow sighs and lays on the cool stone floor that made the fur on the back of her neck stick up.
Pinkie often lets out small squeaks, tears dampening the other's coat of fur.

A little bit later, Twilight trots back into the room, raising her eyebrows a little bit at the scene in fron of her.
"O-okay, everyone's here?"
Twilight states, still staring at the ponies in front of her.
Pinkie seemed to be asleep, Rainbow planting a short kiss on her forehead gently, before turning her head to face the others.

"Shh," Rainbow hisses, the harsh sound pushing back their ears, "She needs the rest. Follow me."

Rainbow places Pinkie's head gently on the ground. The others tilt their head to the side and follow Rainbow, throwing occasional glances towards the peacefully-sleeping pony.

Rainbow gathers Rarity, Twilight, Applejack, Fluttershy and spike around a small rectangular table that held some sort of game. Spike recognised it, "Hey, isn't that the game that me, Discord and Big Mac play?"

Rainbow nods, "Pinkie's been taking care of me from the lightning wound. The game is actually kind of fun," she states, staring gleefully at her badly-made figure placed on the board.

"Anyway, so me and Pinkie have a plan. She-she has some sort of magi-"

Twilight cuts in, "What? Earth ponies can't have magic, it isn't possible!"
"She practises some sort of witchcraft- I don't know what it's called but-"

A quiet voice comes from behind them, "It's Gypsy magic."

The girls turn around to see Pinkie slouched forward slightly on her hooves. She approaches the table with tired eyes.
Twilight looks at her with wide eyes, "That's-"
"-illegal, I know. But it's so fascinating. I'm not hurting anyone, I thought. It became this sort of drug to me."
She utters.
"We're going to use it to get out of here."
"But alicorn magic can-"
"Twilight," Pinkie starts, "We've lost this war. The Crystal empire has won. Alicorn magic cannot perform this plan."

Twilight is silent, narrowing her eyes a little at her friend.
"Go on..."
Twilight ushers, Pinkie nodding and squeezing her way next to Rainbow.
"First of all, there's something Rainbow and I have to tell you."
The couple shares a glance and nod, "w-we're together."

Spike jumps up on Twilight's back, "We guessed. You guys aren't the most subtle of ponies."
Twilight grinned and nodded, while Rarity nudged Applejack, "You owe me now," she whispers.
AJ huffs and mutters a quiet curse under her breath.

"That's great, you guys." Twilight smiles.

"Thank you, everpony." Pinkie lets out a sigh of relief.
"Now, for the plan..."

Pinkie sits and looks around for the items that she needs, "Gypsy magic is like Witchcraft," she begins, "You need items and some kind of sacrifice to perform it."

The 4 ponies and tiny dragon share this look of slight worry, ad if pony sacrifice would be needed. Of course it wouldn't; this isn't some thriller story.
"I have the things, but I also need the energy."

Applejack laughed out loud, "Sorry Sugarcube, it's just if the show was real, well. We'd be good to go,"
The others giggle along with her, before shaking her head.
"I think we would be in a lot better state, if they did. Crime rates would be down,"
"It was a joke," AJ deadpans.

"Anyway," Pinkie continues, "The plan is to transfer us to another realm and stay there for a few years. There are a lot of variations of-"
Twilight grimaces at them, "We're taking the Princesses, right?"
The pink pony stares at Twilight for a while, "We cannot. It would kill me."

Pinkie felt selfish, but it would knock her unconscious just to transfer these six.
"But they will die! They won't leave their subjects, Pinkie."
The stargazer bites her lip nervously and nods, sucking in a breath. She didn't want to leave her mentor to rot in a world where she has no power.

"Look, Twilight. I am taking me and Rainbow. It is your guys' choices whether to join us or not."
It hurt Pinkie to leave them here, but she could not force them to come. The spell would simply be easier if they did not. But she didn't want to leave her friends. Her precious Dashie would want them to come.

Part numero 4. I'm still contemplating whether or not Twilight should stay behind to look after the princesses, or they should all go. It could cause more drama if she stayed and the others went, but what do you guys think?
