Stephanie woke up to the sound of the doorbell. Looking beside her she saw her night in shining armour, Jake Wendleton, slowly getting up not wanting to wake up Jake, Stephanie exited the room. Skipping down the giant wooden staircase, she could smell freshly brewed coffee.
Rushing to the door Stephanie opened it, there at the door was a giant box. Walking out onto the large front patio, she stood there for a moment not wanting to interrupt the sweet humming of the early birds, the crisp morning air, and the look of leaves falling. Just as Stephanie was about to lift the box she felt a pair of muscular arms wrap around her waist then heard the husky voice of the one and only Jake, "Good morning sweetheart, did you get the coffee I made you?" Jake asked
"Good morning my love, and no I was waiting until you came down." Stephanie slowly stated.
"Oh, Stephanie I love these crisp autumn mornings, and the best part is that I get to see you." Jake responded softly.
"You're such an idiot, Jake." Stephanie said.
"But you love me." Jake huskily stated.
"I know..." Stephanie stated.
"I'll get the box, you can go inside and get your coffee," Jake said
"Thanks idiot." Stephanie cheerfully said.
Jake playfully rolled his eyes. "Wow Steph, I'm hurt."Ignoring his statement, Stephanie walked back inside and into their giant kitchen.
There she took a sip of her coffee, and decided to prepare a elegant breakfast for her love. Tip-toeing to the cabinet, so she wouldn't make any sound, she got a skillet to make bacon, then made eggs. Just then she heard Jake entering the kitchen, Stephanie scurried over to him covering his eyes and telling him to watch some TV for now, Jake gave her a peck on the cheek, but did as she said. Stephanie than ran back to the stove to make some pancakes. After all of that was finished she got out a plate, and organized the food nicely onto it. Adding some fresh strawberries onto the pancakes.
"Jake!!" Stephanie hollered. When he didn't respond she walked into the living-room but he wasn't there. "That's strange." Stephanie thought aloud. She wandered into the dining-room an he wasn't there either. Stephanie then walked down to the basement where the den, and two extra spare rooms were located. He wasn't there either. Worried she slowly walked upstairs thinking he just fell asleep again, after he wasn't there either, she walked into the upstairs game room because he was always in there but still no where to be seen.
Stephanie walked down the winding hallways extremely worried, then all of the sudden Jake tackled her jumping out of the bathroom. She screamed in horror then relaxed when she saw it was him. That wasn't the end though as he crawled off her back she jumped onto his back smacking him playfully. Jake then ran down the stairs as fast as he could causing frightening screams from Stephanie. He then jumped backwards on the couch landing on Stephanie and tickling her. In between giggles she shouted "I made you breakfast, so stop tickling me!"
"Oh, why didn't you tell me to start with, I wouldn't of hid from you in the first place." Jake laughed
"Are you serious Jake you were hiding from me?!?" Stephanie responded frustrated.
"Yes, you really thought I wouldn't hide from you?" Jake asked enthusiastically.
"I guess I should've know you're such a dork." Stephanie stated
"Hey! That was mean!" Jake pouted playfully.
"Shut up and go eat your breakfast." Stephanie stated smacking his chest lightly.
"Fine, but you're coming with me." Jake said picking Stephanie up bridal style.

Guys I know whats you're
thinking, If you continue reading you will be able to find all of that out I just wanted to give you a sneak peak of how life was after all the terrible chains of events happened(;But anyways this is my first book so I am aware that this isn't very long or good and there are punctuation mistakes. Fortunately in the future it might get better... It might or might be just a short story. I don't know yet, I'm just experimenting.
Xoxo,
