Stephanie was walking down the street trying to blow of some steam, She just found out that she and her identical twin sister, Cara, were going to be separated because her father is taking custody over her twin. While Stephanie has to stay with her mother. She also recently found out that they might not even be able to celebrate their 16th birthday together. That would totally ruin everything Stephanie had planned out. As she continued to walk Stephanie realized that she was thinking aloud because just then her best friend, Jake, saw her walking alone and ran up to her.

"Who are you talking to Stephanie?" Jake asked.

"No one." Stephanie responded almost too aggressively.

"Talk to me, I hate seeing you like this." Jake stated.

"It's just- it's just nothing, never mind."
Stephanie said clearly stressed.

"Really, Steph, don't be so stubborn, I tell you everything." Jake stated

"Seriously, Jake, just because you tell me private stuff doesn't mean I can do the same." Stephanie yelled, her eyes welling up with tears.

"No, don't cry, you don't have to tell me," Jake said quickly. "How about I take you to you're favorite coffee place and you can rant on about your problem." Jake stated carefully.

"You would do that, Jake?" Steph asked sniffing.

"Of course," Jake said smiling. "Sounds good, Steph?"

"Coffee Palace here we come." Stephanie laughed.

"That's the spirit, but first we better get to my house, I walked here too, so unless you want to walk on the highway, we have to go get my car." Jake smirked.

"Okay, by the way I need to borrow a sweatshirt when we get to your house, I heard it's going to rain and it's going to get really cold." Stephanie said.

"Sure, no problem." Jake shrugged off.

They soon arrived at Jake's house. His house was extremely big, of course everyone expects that from the top quarterback of the football team of Rosewood High.

It is a five story house, As Steph approach's the stairs at the entrance to the house She is surrounded by four cream colored columns leading to the most elegant roman doors She had ever seen, They are made of mahogany and have a stained glass window in the center. Jake grabs the door handle and holds it open for Stephanie. As she continues past the gorgeous granite kitchen, She reach's the hot tub, then leading her outside there is a beautiful in-ground pool. Stephanie has been in each and every one of the 7 guest bedrooms, 3 main bedrooms, 2 common-rooms, game room, and den; but each time she walks in She is just as amazed as the first time she ever came.

They stride up the spiral stairs and up to Jake's bedroom. Which might Steph add that it looks like every guys room, dark blue walls, sport posters and magazines, and even more sport trophies.

"I'll just grab a sweatshirt from your sister's room, Willow, she won't mind." Stephanie said to Jake.

"Actually she will, Willow's been looking for colleges lately and won't let anyone into her room, she's actually not even home right now." Jake stated quickly.

"Oh okay, have I left any here?" Steph asked.

"Umm.. I don't think so, here just borrow this one." Jake said, tossing a gray sweatshirt to Steph.

She looked across the sweatshirt, it has white letters printed across it Rosewood High Football Team.

"I have a sweatshirt just like this," Steph giggled, "but mine says Rosewood High Track Team instead, maybe we could twin someday." Stephanie winked.

"Shut-up, that's never going to happen dork-face." Jake laughed.

Jake and Stephanie walked down the steps and onto the driveway. It was pouring cold hard rain and beginning to thunder.

"Hey Steph, I know I should've asked this before we walked outside, but do you by any chance have an umbrella?" Jake asked Sheepishly.

"No, but I know how to not he rained on." Steph answered.

"And how's that?" Jake asked.

"Run! I'll beat you to the car!" Stephanie shouted.

"Oh no you won't!" Jake yelled back while running

Unfortunately Stephanie reached the car before Jake and locked the door swiftly.

"Hey! What are you doing?!" Jake cried.

"I'll let you in don't worry, but there's a catch." Stephanie grinned.

"Ugh, really Steph, come on?!" Jake stated aggravated.

"What's the magic word?" Steph asked dryly.

"Please?" Jake questioned, making sure to draw out the vowels.

"Well if you insist." Stephanie responded.

"Thank you, now let's get to the Coffee Palace." Jake said gratefully.

"Then I'll finally tell you my problem.." Stephanie stated.

Okay, so again this is my first story so please point out those typos and grammer mistakes. Hopefully in the future this book will be better. Oh and by the way I haven't been active because I totally forgot that I was writing this. Also I don't know if I will be super active because the end of the school year is approaching so I have a lot of finals to study for. I'll try though!
