I called her.

"Assalamualikum! Khairiat?" She asked me in a cute voice.

How can somebody be soo cute! Her actions, her voice, her expressions, everything is soo cute! She is 20 but she is still a child at heart. Just like me. God! They were just asking us about our feelings for each other, and I am already mad for her!

"Hello? Rafeh??" She brought me out of my thoughts.

"Walaikum assalam! Alhamdulillah. You?"

"Alhamdulillah!"

"You wanted to speak about something, right?"

"Oh yeah! Did Anni speak to you about this? Our engagement?"

"Yeah they told me. You too?"

"They were using our phone to discuess about our future! I have call recordervin my phone. So I just listen to that recording. I know its wrong, but they were speaking for about 2 hours! I then asked ammi about this, then thats when she spoke to about this. They wanted your opinion first."

"But...I want to finish my studies first!"

"I said ammi that you want to finish your studies first. She said that its just engagement. Then we have 2 years time to do what ever we want."

"But what about my dream? Its been my childhood dream to go to London to complete my studied. To graduate and become Dr. Zeenath, graduated from London!"

"Even I want you to complete your studies first. But ammi said that you can even do that after nikah!"

"Rafeh but it will be very difficult! To study, to practice and to be a house wife!"

"Don't worry! I'll find a job over there where I can work from home. I'll do everything at home. You'll only concentrate on your studies. I promise!"

"You'll be there with me, right?"

"I promise! See, our parents are forcing us to this engagement, because they know what is good for us. Zubair will not spare me if I hurt you, you know that. Let's give this relationship a try!"

"You know how to cook? Because I am a really big foodie!"

"Well...I learned it for one Arif last year. I'll In sha Allah practice more for this Arif in there two years."

"You learned for which Arif?"

"Zubair Arif! You all siblings are really huge foodies!"

"Haha...you are right! Well...even I think we should give this a try. How about starting it from today?"

"Ok my princess!" I said it in a teasing tone.

"Don't call me that! I am only my Abbu's princess! Think something else!"

I thought for some time and then answered.

"How about 'Birdie'?"

"I heard it somewhere...I guess some T.V. show?"

"Nahh...did you remember that novel? 'The Hoodie Girl'? We both used to read it and then discuss about in in break time in school?"

"Yeah.... Asher Reed and Wren Martin! Asher used to call her Birdie!! I love their chemistry!
But you...copy cat! Can't you think of something new...something your own?"

"Ummmmm...." I started thinking again.

"Yeah! Zee! A shortform of your name! Zee, my very own Zee! Did you like it?"

"Yeah. Thats cute. And I like it!"

"Think something for me!"

"Umm...Raf?"

"Thats what everyone call me!"

"I'll tell you tomorrow! Let me think for sometime!"

"Thats a good start! One more relationship in there two families."

"Yeah. You and bhaiyaa, Ammi and Anni, Abbu and Uncle, Zainab and Riyaz."

Me and Zubair were best friends, Ammi and Anni are also best friends, Abbu and Uncle are friends, Zainab and Riyaz are in a relationship.

Yeah I know. Riyaz don't hide anything from me. He trust me and Zeenath with his secrets.

"And now its you and me."

"Yeah, Just me and you!"

I knew that I was blushing. I can feel myself heating up. I really like her. But I don't know about her opinion. So I gathered courage from nowhere and decided to ask her.

"Listen Zee."

"Yeah?"

"I had feelings for you since I don't know when. I fell for you Zee. Do you....feel....the same....for....me?"
