Kai finished applying her make-up. She smiled proudly at the punk hoe look she managed to get in mere three minutes.
She took the side lip piercing out, replacing the silver ring with a black one. She quickly changed it back, not being used to any other color. She played with the nose ring for a moment, before deciding to leave it be. A quick glance at her ears and decided to leave it with only silver rings at any hole she had.
Now; for the hard part of the morning.
She silently walked downstairs. She entered the kitchen, opening the last drawer; and just like always there were ten packs of Parliament cigarettes.
605 days going to trash.
Kai knew that if West catches her, the cigarettes are as good as gone. So she made sure to smoke before she left the house.
Once she was done with the cigarette, she started walking to school. She had an agreement with Sid and West since she remembered herself; wait next to the stairs leading to the school.
She smoked another half of a cigarette while waiting, and in a moment of distraction it was torn from her hand.
"What the fu- Hey West."
He stomped on the cigarette. "You fucking--"
"Please hold on with the lecturing; we need to talk with the principal."
"Don't tell me what to do you fucking asshole."
"Fine, I'm sorry, whatever." Kai said, watching Isaac Lahey entering the school alongside to a brunette girl. "Geez, this kid grew up. Remember back when I was taller than him?"
"Back when you were taller than me," West laughed, throwing his arm around the dark haired girl's shoulder.
"We're getting old," Kai grimaced.
"Yeah..." West agreed. He cleared his throat. "To the principal and beyond!"
West grinned widely, grabbing Kai's hand and the two chatted about what they would do now, seeing as West disagreed to have anyone else join the band (unless Sid randomly got back from the dead).
As Kai pushed the doors open (after rolling up the sleeves of her leather jacket so her tattoo would show), she shot West a smirk, and he understood perfectly that he needs to shut up.
They walked through the hallway with a straight face, and West proudly thought they looked completely badass.
West wasn't looking as cool as Kai, as his tattoos were mostly hidden by his shirt, except for a small part that showed on his left arm and neck. The only piercing he had was in his brow, and his bleached hair wasn't really cool.
Whispers erupted.
And one made the expression in the two friends' face change; "-werewolves will not do you any good, Lydia."
Pure confusion passed through their eyes, as they glanced at the two girls that walked past them.
And then the principal exited his office, almost making West fall off his feet. Kai laughed (because she was such a good friend) as West scowled and stood up straight, trying to pretend it didn't happen.
"Look who is back!"
"Ola sir," Kai smirked. "It means 'hello sir'."
"I know what it means, I know some Spanish."
"Oh, okay. Just, made sure. So, you know it wouldn't be awkward." Kai cleared her throat, thinking like it is now.
"What are you doing here?"
"We're here to complete our senior year," West explained.
"Yeah," Kai agreed. "And before you ask; Stonem is dead."
Surprise shot through his face. "I am sorry to hear."
"We were too."
>>>
"Ow," Kai complained as a paper ball hit her head. She turned around to angrily stare at the devil spawn that shot it at her. "West, you freaking asshole."
"Kai, you freaking duck."
"Duck?" Kai questioned her friend's choice of words.
"Yeah, because you're stupid. Like a duck." He smiled brightly.Kai stood up, ignoring the teacher's shouts. She grabbed the back of his neck. "Ow, ow, ow."
"Wilson, you may have forgotten how to act in school-"
"We weren't in a jungle."
"Yeah, it was worst. Half a year at New York is tougher than... five and a half years in Hell."
"We know because we spent five and a half years here." West explained the teacher.
"That's what I was thinking when I said it!"
"Oh my God, it was just a guess, I can't believe it was actually what you were thinking."
"Oh my God."
"Oh my God."
"You know; If you weren't my best friend, you'd my best friend. Just for that." Kai stated. West moved his lips, not saying anything.
"I have no idea what to say." He admitted eventually.
"I do," the teacher said. "Sit down. Apart."
Kai smiled at West, shrugging before walking back to her seat.
"Now, back to History. As I was saying, Hitler was arrested and during the time spent in jail wrote the book-" the bell rung. "Read page thirty seven to forty and answer questions three to six at page forty two!" the teacher called over the noise of students getting ready to leave.
"Oh, hey, we need to talk to the principal, right?" West asked, as Kai stretched in her seat.
"Isn't it lunch break?"
"It's only second class," West laughed. Kai groaned loudly, pushing up.
"Let's face the demon."
