"College is a good look, a real good look."-J Cole...

Fall had finally come, so you know what that means...college! I am so excited for this journey in life. The parties, sexy boys...and more parties! But of course my studies come first.

"Maaaaa! Where's the rest of my stuff?!"

"Dad already packed it in the car; now go before you're late!"

I gave my family good bye kisses and started pulling off. I decided to drive myself there even though my dad my following close behind. Good bye New Jersey, hello D.C.

An hour into the drive, August Alsina's Grind and Pray started playing and I got hype. I love him so much and no one understands my obsession. I turned the volume all the way up and started singing.

"All I do is grind, and pray, riding through the streets all, I'm juuu..."

My phone started ringing. Who the hell is interrupting me!? I looked at the message and it was my dad.

"Turn your damn music down!"

All I could do was laugh. I didn't realize it was booming through the car like that. After I turned the radio down, my phone rang again. I checked it real quick.

Heem: Good luck today! HU, turnup!

Shanice: You could've seen me off lol

Heem: Didn't think you'd want to see me lol :/

Shanice: Hmmm, good point. But thanks!

Heem: <3 <3 <3

I stopped responding after that.

About thirty minutes later, I had arrived to my dream school. The campus was absolutely breathtaking. Before I actually got situated with the school, my dad and I found the location of my loft and unpacked. Freshmen are supposed to live on campus, but I refused. I don't have the time trying to sneak a potential man in a dorm or a roommate that hates me. I went back to the campus grounds after my father left. I didn't know what to do or where I was going. Someone finally escorted me to where I needed to be, and I was just in time for orientation.

Kyle's POV:

Sophomore year is here and I couldn't be more excited. The whole summer, all I could think about was that girl at that party. I dreamt about her day and night, I reminisced every curve from her hips to her smile. I tried to block her out of my mind, but I never succeeded. It sucks to see someone that you know you'll never come across again. Hopefully I find a girl in this new batch of freshmen coming today to focus on instead. Time for another year at Howard.
