I was on my side when I woke to see Proquan laid across my bed. Being already in pain, him cramping my space didn't help. I pushed up on my elbow and stared at him for a long minute. I just thought on how bad I messed up in this room. For the second time.
I nudged him gently with my leg, opening his eyes. A smirked expression covered up how tired he looked, "well finally your up."
Ignoring him, "did you not learn a lesson last night?" I slowly whispered. My eyes jumped towards the door. Closed, but that doesn't take away the fear.
Proquan positioned himself on his side towards me. If Evile were to walk in and look at this scene, I would most definitely die. "I'm not scared of, Evile."
"Well I am," his eyes wandered up at me. I pointed to myself, "he did do this to me, remember? Twice."
"He won't do anything."
So I guess the visits to his office were just friendly, business trips.
"That must be really easy coming out your mouth." I laid on my back giving my elbow a rest, it kind of relieved my muscles.
"What is that supposed to mean?"
"I'm saying that your not the one with bruises all over you."
Proquan pushed off my bed without replying. I just shook it off but watched him to the window. His eyes scattered in circles as if he seen something unsettling on the other side of the glass.
"Proquan." I called to him. He didn't look at me the entire time, only out the window. Then, as if someone was calling him, he started walking to the door. "Where are you going?"
"Out." Once he left I heard the door lock on the other side. My head snapped back to the window. Using my strength, I pushed off the bed trying to ignore how badly I ached. I used the bed and the wall to get me to the window.
My eyebrows slid upwards as my eyes widened. A body rested on the ground, Mr. Evile stood by a man talking to him, Periodically looking at the body. I couldn't hide the feeling of sickness inside of me. My stomach churned for all the wrong reasons. The man turned around with a greeted facial expression, grabbing a shovel seconds later from another man that just entered the scene. All three men planted the shovel inside the dirt, flinging to the sides of them.
I wasn't sure how long I was able to watch until what ever was in me came out. But for now, I just stared at the men finish a large enough hole to place the body in. I was outraged. Didn't know who the body belonged to but I felt as if I needed to yell something. It wasn't right what they were doing. I don't have proof of any murder and I haven't been here long, but no one in this building winds up dead for no reason.
It started off as a small knock, turning into loud banging, and angry yelling. I was on the first floor and close to where the men were so they had to hear me. The window wouldn't open but I didn't care, I just wanted their attention.
I finally did catch the eye of one of those men.
Proquan.

I was in my bed after dinner. Proquan untied me a while ago, it was a relief knowing I didn't have to sleep with that rope on tonight. My mind wandered to earlier. Proquan was capable of burying a body, I wonder what else he was capable of. Maybe he actually is more dangerous than I think. I shook the thought.
This was the most awkward silence I ever experienced before. What do you even say to a man that just laid a body underneath the earth? It didn't seem like he was bothered by it at all. That made me wonder how many people he buried before. Again, maybe he is more dangerous than I think.
I looked at how he sat at the edge of my bed so quite. Hands folded in his lap, slumped shoulders, head low. I'm not sure how I should address him.
I cleared my throat. "Proq-"
"Don't."
I had a confused facial expression for a second. Maybe burying that body actually hurt him emotionally. If it did, why did he do it?
I tried again. "Who was it?"
"What?" Proquan slightly turned his head to me.
"The body. Who did it belong to?" I got a weird tight feeling in my stomach.
"Why are you so curious?" He said in almost a whisper. "Leave it alone."
Shaking my head, "I can't. I should have a right to know."
"Why? It has nothing to do with you."
"But still-"
"But still nothing."
I shook my head. "You buried a body and you're completely fine with that?"
I didn't get my answer.
Proquan stood up and grabbed a small key out of his back pocket. "Go to sleep."
"You can't ignore me forever, and if you do I can always ask Sandy." I said.
In a sneaky, sarcastic tone he said, "good luck with that."
