Peeta POV

Tonight I am going on a date with katniss since we have not had alone time in a long time.

" You ready"I ask as she comes down stairs she nods and leave finnick and Annie with lavender.

We get in the car and start driving towards the water which is a little pond about a few streets down from our house so it is not far at all.

We pull in a space in between a tree and a bench. There are now five unoccupied parking spaces.

The water is so beautiful at night. It reflects on the moon. I wonder how it was at night at the edge of the water in district four. I was there for the victory tour but not at night.

Katniss gets the picnic basket and I get the blanket and we head to closer to the pond so we have about eight feet in front of us water.

"So lavender is almost one soon and I was wondering what who we should invite for guest"I ask.

"Well of course Annie and finnick and haymitch, Johanna and gale, maybe Effie and delly and that other girl I let at my baby shower because I told her I would talk to her"katniss lists

"Sounds good and of course tie and depending if Johanna's baby is born yet. Which she would only be a few weeks if so"I add and we nod.

We eat and have some wine but I am not drunk so don't worry but the person that were pulling out of the driveway was. I was just relaxing with katniss by the water,And now katniss is bleeding and being placed on a stretcher when I am pretty sure I broke a leg or an arm.

Stupid drunk driver is perfectly fine though,which is not right at all. And he better wish my dear katniss is alive or he will get messed up and I will go in depression and lavender is going to live with probably Annie and finnick. So that better not happen. I am a wreck and I am crying my eyes out with Annie ,finnick and tie. And now lavender is nervous now. I just hope she makes it.
